Slack is more like a fun environment than Microsoft teams, which is more like a formal one. The upsides of using Slack are that we have many third-party apps that we can add in Slack that will help us in many ways like I personally use Clockwise, which will change my status based on working hours and google calendar, which will notify me whenever there is a meeting. The downside of Slack is that we cannot set up meetings from there as we can set up in Microsoft teams. While setting up a meeting in Microsoft Teams, we can see the status of people, like they are accessible at that particular time or if we need to set up that meeting at another time. Still, this feature is not present in Slack as in Slack, we need to use google calendar to set up a meeting. For that first, we need to install that app in Slack and then set up a meeting from google calendar, and we also cannot see the people's status to whom we are inviting, whether they are available to join or not, which is present in Microsoft Teams.
