Top Rated Skykit Alternatives

I love the Google Integration! It's super helpful for our students to be able to upload media to Skykit Service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that my students wish could change is the playlist/program. They feel like they're too similar and get confused at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The product is designed to be easily scaled which was an essential element we considered when picking a digital signage provider. Implementation was as easy as plugging in the device and getting it connected to our network. When an issue came up, getting ahold of customer support was quick and easy. The feature list continues to grow, and integrating it with our existing Salesforce account was smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As with any software there is a little bit of a learning curve, but between our dedicated customer success manager and the online knowlege base it didn't take much time to learn. Skykit also offers training sessions during the implementation faze to assist in getting customers up to speed on the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Skykit to display Salesforce Dashboards and have loved it. The dashboards refresh as they should and stay on the screens without having to touch them. It has saved a lot of time being able to easily make a playlist or add content, and then set it and forget it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found any dislikes and the support team was very helpful in getting us setup in the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that the Team at Skykit is constantly making usability improvements. They are super responsive (Sales and Support!) The product is highly integrated with Google Apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is not a dislike, more of a wish - we have 14 locations I would love to be able to manage them overall as an admin and grant location only access to users. EDIT: this has come along really nicely, the team at Skykit helped us manage our locations in a way that is so much more convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our school district was looking for a large-scale digital signage solution but we were finding that many products and services out there were not cost-effective for the district to invest in. Skykit happened to reach out to us while we were searching, and it came at the perfect time. It offered all the things we were looking for and came at a price that finally made our video wall hopes more than a dream. It is easy to get connected and work and really came at a great cost for us.
UPDATE: After getting our 2x3 screen up, it became apparent that Skykit does not do custom resolutions very well. If it is a 16:9 ratio, then skykit is great, but if it is outside of the 16:9 ratio then skykit struggles a bit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few features, like screen orientation and resolution that I wish I had control of, rather than having to contact Skykit for changes. Other than that, there is not much to complain about. Does not have layouts that work well with screen setups that are outside of 16:9 ratio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Features keep growing while the current features are versatile to present several different products in different ways. The way this integrates with Google makes sharing content seamless. The hardware is easy to install and conceal. The cloud is easy to manage. We are a geographically diverse company with 400 locations in the United States. Being able to control content in each location which focuses on the business of the local while also presenting an overarching corporate message was critical to our success. The integration wtih Salesforce is key as well. We use this as a way to have our tech bar show statistics for tickets through an API plug in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At the moment, there's nothing that I dislike. I had some technical hiccups, but we're working through those. At worst, the product has a steep learning curve, but the sales and implementation team helps overcome that. The licensing fees can be steep in relation, but the overall product released is far superior to other products from similar market providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nifty little palm sized device, easily mountable to the back of a TV. All required cabling included. Easily connects to an existing network wirelessly. Web-based platform to upload content (pictures, videos, PDFs, website screenshots, web feeds, or powerpoints) with the ability to add other content creators. If you don't want others affecting schedules, programs, or playlists, you can create a google slide with others for them to update at their discretion. Content updates can be set to manual or automatic (updating at a specified time - ours updates an hour before our lobby opens). It can even shut your TV off after it's played through its playlist or other programmed content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Initially, I was displeased with the fact it required many more steps to setup programming; however, once I had it all figured out, its overall advanced features were ultimately worth the extra steps as it turns out there is more overall control at every step. Skykit has supported all of my request for assistance in implementing my signage. If they didn't have the ability to implement what I requested they worked digilentily to help me find a workable solution. At every steop in every application Skykit when over and above what I expected to make sure I had a workable solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't really identify anything. As a strech it would be nice to have a one-stop shop for all the hardward and software needs, but Skykit has always pointed me to the vendors I needed to complete my projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hardware setup was a breeze! I couldn't believe it could be that easy after struggling with so many other digital signage systems. It's nice to use Google Slides for quick changes to data screens. I find connecting to web pages a godsend for updating program calendars. Support has always been prompt and courteous. It's great that I can update our signage from anywhere there is internet access. There is nothing to dislike about SkyKit. I won't use anything else after this experience. SkyKit just keeps getting better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The simplicity of the dashboard and the way it can give information at the touch of a button is what is so awesome to me. I can complete reports and post them without any inconveniences or concerns that it wont show. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to dislike, if I am being honest. Such a fantastic product and extremely helpful in the most informative way. I cannot imagine the workplace without it. Thank you!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The team has been responsive to our feedback and spent time explaining how best to use the platform. For our purposes, deployment on Chrome OS devices has worked out really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Loading times are a bit slow when doing search, and in general it's a bit problematic that there are too many ways to get the same thing done, so the learning curve ends up a bit steep. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
