We’ve been clients of Skeepers for several years, but unfortunately, the experience has taken a disappointing turn. They pulled us into an annual commitment that auto-renews, locking us into $259/month for a service we hardly use or benefit from. Not only that, but said renewal went to a former employee, so there's no way for us to know or manage it. Even after years of being customers with them, they don't seem to care and are trying to renew our service just at a discounted rate!
Here’s why we’re unhappy:
Limited Value: We don’t use many of the features, and the ones we do engage with don’t justify the cost.
Restricted Review Transparency: Customer reviews are often displayed as "anonymous," which feels disingenuous. Additionally, they only consider ratings from the past year, which doesn't give a complete picture.
Glitchy Platform: The app experience is frustrating, with glitches that redirect us to different sites or languages, making it unnecessarily complicated to use.
Poor Customer Support: Their chat option lacks integrated AI for quick resolutions, there’s no live support, and responses from customer service are often delayed.
At $259/month, we expected much better. Sadly, it’s clear that Skeepers is not the right fit for us anymore. Maybe we would have considered returning in the future if business needs changed, but now we're left with such a bitter taste with how they're handling our cancelation request. They blame Google for all of the issues, and then they tell us that we have to deal with Google. When we call Google, they tell us the issue is with Verified Reviews. The service hasn't worked for over 6 months. They expect us to continue paying for a service that doesn't work. They refuse to accept responsibility for their product.

Verified Reviews support is near flawless! They offer customized solutions which TrustPilot support wouldn't even respond to emails about. The value in what the monthly fee is far superior to other 3rd party review companies. The ease at which our customers can leave reviews is much easier than other review platforms; they don't spam your clients after they leave a review. No yearly contracts, they do business in a way that is fair-trade, I absolutely love Verified Reviews after working with Trustpilot for years and it being a battle with them in every way. Trustpilot allowed some of our customers to use their platform to extort our company in several instances - I would never ever work with TrustPilot! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to set up, easy to work with, no hidden fees, or surprises. Once set up you can forget about it and just see the results.
Very professional team, our account manager is always available for us and most importantly he proactively advises us on what we can do better and how to fully take advantage of their new features.
We have a strong ROI strategy and Verified Reviews is a no-brainer, especially on a month-to-month contract.
UPDATE:
The verified reviews team is always 100% responsive. We switch e-commerce platforms and they helped us all the way to make sure the new integration was flawless. Even the US director called us to make sure all was set up correctly.

Verified Reviews was able to integrate our history of reviews (from a competitor), so we did not have to lose this content in the widgets on our website.
The "rebalancing" link works great! That allows our customers, after they placed a review with Verified Review, to be automatically invited to also review us on platforms of our choice such as GMB, Facebook, etc. We've seen a big increase in reviews on Google My Business since using that feature.
The choice of widgets, and possibility to select out of 5 or out of 10 is nice.

The reminders for the invitations to review are sent only to non-openers of the first email. They should be sent to anyone who has not placed a review yet. Hopefully they are working on it.
The history integration could have been more complete, but at the end, they did a good job.

We have been a pleased customer for about six weeks now. So far, support has been great as we expand the website with additional design enhancements and content. We haven't started on Q&A yet that we already purchased, but we are so excited to look into that hopefully next month. We are happy to see that development on their part is on-going as they just released a new reporting dashboard called Smart Data. But our favorite part so far must be the low subscription costs as D2C is a new business model for us and we are trying to scale this model globally and maintain profitability. Nothing is coming to my mind as every need or requirement that we have is always answered quickly.
In 2020 the dashboard was not very elaborate, but since early this year, it has improved dramatically! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The reason we use verified reviews is so we can have the google star rankings on our ads and sometimes there are differences between the number of reviews verified reviews says we have and the number of reviews google says we have. For example verified reviews said we have 108 reviews but google said we have 99 and we need 100 (according to google) for the stars extension to show so I am not sure if that is a google issue or verified reviews issue but it can be frustrating.
