What do you like best about skEdit?

What i like most about skEdit is that i can directly edit files from my host using FTP instead of having to download the file, edit it, then upload it again. It supports also code completion which is handy when i write code as it saves some time when working on projects that have a lot of files. And i can write multiple languages in it which is actually not a new thing as most text editors now offer the same thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about skEdit?

Its price is not so good, as there is many free alternatives that offer similar features also for this user interface 30 dollars is too much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering skEdit:

There is tons of text editors out there, but i never found all the features i like in one place except in few products and skEdit is one of them the only downside is that the user interface is not that great as i am a designer also so these details matter to me, but if you are ok with the interface then i recommend skEdit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is skEdit solving and how is that benefiting you?

When working on websites, i use HTML, css, Jquery and sometimes PHP, being able to write all of these languages in on editor is a huge plus for me instead of having separate program for each language alone. Also automation is an important aspect when you have similar tasks to do every time. Thanks to skEdit's User Scripts that allows you do write automated script with the language i choose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
