I have tried SingleStore for data processing. The speed at which data gets processed from different pipelines is amazing. Millions of data were being transferred within seconds. And it is easy to get familiar with platform, it is friendly and accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What the platform is missing is its own GUI to connect to their environment. Sometimes relying only in browser may be not the best way to use the product. Another disadvantage is that each query run opens a new tab of results which leads to browser memory utilization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really liked the concurrent read/write (faster) compared to the likes of MySQL/Postgres. The architecture, setup and usage remind me more of Snowflake which is something I am working on at the moment. SingleStore DB is effective for managing all database applications and their dependencies from both on-premise and cloud platforms. It provides super-fast insights about the ingestion and performance statestics whenever a DB query is processed. It provides excellent data redundancy capabilities in which multiple operational data connectors can work together to share resources within that particular data cluster. SingleStore DB manages all the synchronization issues in case if a cluster malfunctions as it ensures that we are able to access our database from other regions. I don't find anything to dislike about SingleStore DB as its great for my usage and manages my database application clusters in a fantastic manner. Its dashboard is transparent and insightful so its also easy to evaluate our application deployments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its awesome to see GCP, AWS and Azure together and setting up the chosen Cloud service to singlestore. however, the singlestore has made it more easier and compact to choose service of your choice, Frontend of the (Daas) is also very catchy and professional. 1. Good database service with quick setup and a good range of cloud providers and compute resource sizes to choose from.

2. Data import is easy from cloud storage layers like S3 using pipelines

3. Data load and query performance is quick.

4. The UI is clean and intuitive.

5. Data migration is made simple. For example, it is possible to offload data from RDS MySQL to S3 and then create new pipelines in SingleStore to automatically ingest the data.

Data ingestion is done in seconds. In addition, it is possibility to easily load data from on-premise instances too using mysqldump. It even takes care of the table ddl generation. The UI only allows one SQL Editor tab at a time. It would be a great feature to be able to edit multiple sql scripts in the same time but in separate tabs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I quite like the seemless integration with AWS. In just a couple of commands, I was able to pull in data from S3 into SQL and create a pipeline. The scalable parallel ingestion and live de-dupe mechanism is quite awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I guess it would be pricing. I used S-16 cluster and exhausted $500 credit after finishing with 1billion rows load. But I think price vs performance compromise would exist in every solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
