Overall I had swift experience with the platform, starting from configuration to data ingestion, which was so straightforward with minimal efforts for the entire operation and that scaled up so fast.

The real-time process for the nodes was really helped in the estimation n required instances for computing the huge data

I believe the most amazing thing is it does not require high technical expertise to work with the SingleStore platform it does all complex tasks for us.

Based on past work experiences of investing in an intense amount of configuring the infrastructure for massive compute resources, would recommend the single store platform to sure give a shot in the future use cases.

SingleStore has a pay as you use. this is quite a great feature for the customers who need to perform data-intensive tas for one time or are required to process huge data, mostly preferred to utilize for peak hours.

The supporting team is Proactive, and that's so astonished when serving the customers.

So far I don't have a dislikeable point, but one thing that can be improved upon on Data Visualization for estimation, computing cost, forecasting, etc.

The user interface was intuitive and very easy to use. I found it very easy to get up and running quickly. This product takes a lot of the complexity out of the system setup. Much easy to work with than a similar product like Hadoop with Hive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I had issues getting the cluster up and running. I was getting API errors during setup and also had the cluster creation hang a couple times. - Extremely easy to set up and there are no issues with local dev. environments since it is in the cloud.

- It is highly responsive with connecting to data and queries.

I would like you to have more UI friendly and whenever I execute query it should have an option to appear in bottom window area. Also I would like to know how many rows got inserted, updated and deleted when I execute DML. I would like to have info about indices on the tables. I would also have a way of creating a pipeline in the opposite direction or export data to S3 bucket to have two ways experience in different format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1) Blazing fast speed performance .Improvements in query times, between 30 to 100 times considering almost zero changes in workflow, or training new developer skills. No dislikes as such really at this point of time and amount of usage. Guess it might need some time to figure out how to most effectively use all the features and the system design to its best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I very much liked the overall experience right from the cluster setup to executing queries and getting results. It is very smooth and user-friendly. I liked the performance of ingesting data from s3 bucket using the pipeline concept which is very interesting.

Queries with only where conditions are working very fast without any indexing which is impressive. Monitoring tools are also very helpful to DBAs/Developers who need to manage multiple instances of databases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The performance of the aggregation queries can be improved. I have tested this with the default cluster as mentioned in the documents. One query that took a very long time is: "find out which holiday has the most activity" which is around 1.12 mins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My experience was good. The concept of a super-fast, cloud-native ACID database is of course very attractive, and I think the implementation is adequate for the most part.

The innovations brought to the table with SingleStore's Codegen Architecture and Universal Storage. I experimented with the sample databases provided, and the queries were indeed very fast and responsive, even when I deliberately made then very awkard and convoluted. My main concern is with the documentation and user experience. The docs and articles are a bit outdated and the examples provided do not work as intended. For example, the process to set up a data pipeline described here (https://developers.singlestore.com/blog/how-to-load-100-billion-rows-of-data-ultrafast/?utm_source=upwork&utm_medium=psm&utm_campaign=7014x000002ltsdqak&utm_content=fastapps) does not work. Besides, many pages still refer to SingleStore as MemSQL.

I also found it a bit hard to locate the access point for SingleStore Studio.

Query errors could be more explicit. When I input an invalid query, the error message is some variant of (ERROR 1064 ER_PARSE_ERROR: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near), which is a bit cryptic and not very helpful.

If I could, I'd allow more SQL flavours to be used, as not everyone is familiar with MySQL's peculiarities. I also would open source as many key database developments as possible, to make new discoveries more accesible to the world. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
