What do you like best about Simcenter Amesim?

Amesim offers extensive libraries for hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal, electrical, and mechanical systems, enabling detailed modeling of complex mechatronic systems. It supports co-simulation with 3D CAE software, CAD import, and various real-time targets (MIL/SIL/HIL) and is also very intuitive with interactive help, scripting capabilities for MATLAB, Python, and Excel, and the ability to develop custom models.

It can also be used in co-simulation with many 3rd-party tools for cross-platform integration.

It is the go-to tool for every simulation in our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simcenter Amesim?

Amesim is a perfect tool for multiphysic simulations. But should you need help with a feature it is always better to collaborate with a long-term user and Siemens Partner like BSIM in Italy instead of asking Siemens support directly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Simcenter Amesim solving and how is that benefiting you?

Amesim helps cut down development time for a new product by about 30%, which translates into an overall cost reduction. Changes can be easily made without having to spend money on a prototype, and engineers can concentrate on innovation without having to code or experiment first.
