Top Rated Silhouette Alternatives
I love using silhouette for all of my designs, I previously used Cricut and there is a WORLD of difference. It’s a much better program that is much easier to use with minimal glitches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have had some issues with specific designs that the program would randomly closeout, or say the design is corrupt. But overall, I have very few gripes with the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to do roto in this software because it is totaly dedicated to roto and paint work . so there are no lots of menus and tool options. . Easy to use and learn . Very powerfull in tracking the footages also spacially planner trackers. New version proinging node graph interface like nuke which is also very user friendly and cool. On heavy files like on 4k exr , it does not work properly . for smooth work we need to render in jpeg or low file formate which affect in dilivering quality output. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Silhouette is great for anyone looking for an alternative to Cricut (especially after their subscription model fiasco). While you can use pretty much any sticker materials with the Cameo 4, the glitter sticker paper produced by Silhouette is really beautiful and always gets a lot of interest when I'm vending! I like how easy the software is to use as well. While I can go through the trouble of pre-designing my sticker off-set cuts, the fact that I can just toss any image into Silhouette Studio and create an off-set border cut is fantastic. There's honestly not too much that I dislike so far. I would say my main complaint is that registration can sometimes be tricky, especially when dealing with shiny materials. Occasionally, my blade won't set to the right depth but that's usually resolved by manually removing the blade, setting it, and then replacing it. I do recommend keeping an eye on the machine as it's cutting to be able to quickly pause to troubleshoot if you have any issues. Much easier than finishing the whole cut and finding out something went off early on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most iconic feature is the UI, it has the simplicity of Paint but the engine of almost photoshop, I'm really impressed how the studio has the tools well organized, and not too shabby buttons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the downside is the compatibility with other vector formats and other cutting printers aside own ones. which could be resolved and the software would be perfect Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using Silhouette for more than 4 years and honestly speaking whenever I have worked on it it has only made me delighted and the results are perfect. Here are some of the features that I like about Silhouette,
- Mocha track helps a lot in rotoscoping.
- The compact size and great storage optimization make the software blazingly fast.
- The variety of handy Roto-utilities makes the whole experience really smooth for an artist like me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I dislike about the software. One artist can use any version of the software and get pretty much everything done very easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
