It makes it easy to draw together a quick layout and generate a proposal. Once set up, it's very quick and easy to do things with it. Their shading calculation is horrible, even adding an extra 10% shading to every project, it still over estimates production. Our company lost thousands of dollars last year because sighten software said a system would produce much more power than it actually did. It uses 2 year old thermal data to determine production, doesn't allow you to add obstructions that cause shade, such as trees, it only uses 2018 thermal images of a roof to determine where sun hits. Any changes in the last 2 years or if trees have grown? Then your production will be much lower than what it estimates.
