"Sift Turns Raw Fraud Data Into Clear, Actionable Evidence"
What do you like best about Sift?

For fraud, it uses a massive global network to stop bad actors before they even hit your checkout; for forensics, it provides an elite, pre-configured environment that saves hours of setup. In both cases, Sift excels at turning overwhelming amounts of raw data into clear, actionable evidence. It’s essentially the difference between guessing and knowing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sift?

The area which needs improvement with Sift is how much it asks of you. Whether it’s the fraud platform acting like a "black box" that’s hard to second-guess, or the forensics kit’s steep learning curve, it isn't exactly "plug and play." It’s a resource hog that demands serious processing power and even more patience to master. Basically, it’s incredibly powerful, but it’s definitely not built for a quick or casual user experience. "Sift’s Sleek Explore UI and Strong Analytics That Help Reduce Fraud"
What do you like best about Sift?

The UI in the Explore section for analyzing orders and users is one of the best features. Sift’s ability to condense a huge amount of information into a sleek, easy-to-read template is impressive. Since we’re in retail, it’s especially helpful to have a platform that delivers strong analytical performance. The pricing also feels on point considering how much the solution has helped reduce overall fraudulent transactions.

This is my first time using a platform like this, let alone an AI-based one, but I was able to learn the system fairly quickly and my onboarding to the analytics team was smooth. The AI model works well and continues to adjust based on our daily manual reviews. We’re also working on integrations to automate our weekly reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sift?

There’s still room for improvement in language recognition, especially for Arabic, since our main market is the Middle East. I’ve also noticed some bugs recently. For example, sometimes orders don’t show up in the correct date/time order. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Connects the Dots Fast—A Digital Detective’s Dream"
What do you like best about Sift?

Honestly, it’s the way it connects the dots without making me hunt for them. I love that I can see a random IP in one case and immediately see it linked to three other accounts across the globe. It makes you feel a bit like a digital detective rather than just a data entry person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sift?

Sometimes it feels like there’s too much noise. When you have a hundred different signals firing at once, it can be a bit of a rabbit hole trying to figure out which one actually matters for the specific case I’m looking at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sift Transformed Our Fraud Detection with Accurate Scoring and Risk-Based Authentication"
What do you like best about Sift?

Sift has become a cornerstone of our security stack, particularly in the areas of E-commerce Fraud Protection and Financial Fraud Prevention. Since implementing it, we’ve seen a significant reduction in chargeback rates and a much more streamlined process for identifying account takeover attempts. The Sift Score is incredibly accurate, allowing our team to automate a large portion of our Fraud Detection through custom Workflows, which has drastically cut down on the time we spend on manual reviews. What I appreciate most is the Risk-Based Authentication; it gives us the flexibility to apply friction like MFA only when a transaction is truly suspicious, ensuring our legitimate customers have a frictionless experience. It’s a powerful, scalable tool that provides deep, identity-level insights we couldn't get elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sift?

I don't have particularly any data that I dislike about SIFT. Everything looks fine here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful Tool for Managing Abuse and Fraud Efficiently"
What do you like best about Sift?

What I like best about Sift is how it helps us quickly identify and prevent fraudulent or abusive behavior, making our work more efficient. It gives clear insights that support better decision-making, allowing us to protect users while maintaining a smooth customer experience. It truly strengthens trust and safety overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sift?

What I dislike about Sift is that it can sometimes flag legitimate users, which creates extra work for our team and delays for customers. The interface can also feel a bit overwhelming at times, especially when handling multiple cases, making it harder to quickly find the most relevant information needed. "Sift : Helpful tool to mitigate Fraud"
What do you like best about Sift?

What I like best about Sift is how effectively it empowers me in my role as a Risk Investigator. The platform's machine learning models and real-time decisioning allow me to detect and act on suspicious activity quickly and with confidence. I also appreciate how intuitive and customizable the tools are—it helps streamline my investigations and focus on high-risk cases without getting buried in false positives. Sift’s commitment to innovation and collaboration makes it easier for me to stay ahead of evolving fraud tactics Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sift?

One area I think Sift could improve is in the granularity of data visibility and customization. While the platform is powerful, there are times when I need deeper insights into model reasoning or more tailored workflows to align perfectly with our internal processes. It would also be helpful to have more flexibility in creating investigation rules or alerts directly within the system. That said, Sift is always evolving, and I appreciate that feedback is often taken seriously and acted on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Customizable and User-Friendly, But Data Export Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about Sift?

What I like most about Sift is that it does not impose any limitations on its use, providing great freedom to configure and adjust the systems according to our needs. Additionally, it offers a wide variety of parameters and options that allow for creating and customizing numerous detection rules with great precision. Its graphical interface is highly intuitive and easy to navigate, making the user experience very friendly and efficient. Furthermore, the platform features extensive, detailed, and well-structured documentation, which greatly facilitates understanding its functionalities and fully leveraging all its capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sift?

What I don’t like about Sift is that sometimes some records are lost when downloading data. Additionally, when downloading different files, some contain more information than others, which requires manually merging them—a process that is very tedious and time-consuming. "How Sift is helping risk investigators in mitigating possible fraud and unwanted activity"
What do you like best about Sift?

It is easy to use, you can even have your investigation much effectively as you can justify your decisions according to the details we see in the Sift scores of the customers. How many users are using the device of the customer, order history, and location of the customer. We can check the IP location of the customers, if it matches their address. We can check as well if the customer is linked to other customers of Remitly in other factors or attributes. Sometimes we can see also if there are other customers who are sending under the same IP address and it became a red flag that we have to mitigate. We can cross check also how may times customers are submitting transactions and based it also on their ages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sift?

I think if there are some linkage but it is inaccurate when we check. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accurate Risk Scoring and Automation That Scales Fraud Prevention"
What do you like best about Sift?

Sift provides strong fraud detection capabilities with accurate risk scoring that helps reduce chargebacks and manual review effort. The platform is relatively easy to integrate and offers clear dashboards that make monitoring fraud trends and decision outcomes straightforward. Its automation features help scale fraud prevention without significantly increasing operational overhead, and customer support is responsive when issues arise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sift?

Some advanced features require additional configuration and fine-tuning to achieve optimal results, which can take time and expertise. Pricing can become relatively high as transaction volume grows, and deeper customization or reporting sometimes requires support involvement rather than being fully self-service. There is also a learning curve for new users when interpreting certain risk signals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time Fraud Detection with Flexible, Transparent Case Investigation"
What do you like best about Sift?

What I like best about Sift is its ability to provide real-time, data-driven fraud detection while maintaining a seamless customer experience. It effectively combines machine learning with customizable rules, allowing teams to make accurate decisions quickly without heavily impacting good users.

Another key strength is its flexibility and visibility—the platform makes it easy to investigate cases, review signals, and understand the reasoning behind decisions. This helps improve both efficiency and confidence in handling complex risk scenarios.

Overall, Sift stands out for helping teams balance risk prevention and customer trust, enabling smarter and faster decision-making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sift?

One of the main challenges with Sift is that it can feel complex and overwhelming, especially when handling cases with multiple signals, linked accounts, and data points. This sometimes makes it harder to quickly identify the most critical information needed for decision-making.

Additionally, the annotation and documentation process can be time-consuming, particularly when detailed inputs are required across different fields. Missing even a small detail can impact quality, which adds pressure during high-volume workloads.

There are also moments where navigation and filtering could be more intuitive, as locating specific details or switching between related cases may take extra time.

Overall, while Sift is a powerful tool, improving usability, simplification of workflows, and clearer prioritization of key signals would enhance efficiency and user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
