I don't like the color they provides, like for buttons etc, but then again we can change the color at our end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
10 out of 11 Total Reviews for Semantic UI React
What I love from Semantic UI React is how easy it is to integrate its components in any React application. With the out-of-the-box components you can build a very light and beautiful UI.
I first met Semantic UI with its jQuery version and chose it because of its visual simplicity. I did not really like other libraries' colors and/or designs, and by searching for alternatives I found Semantic UI. Since then, I always use it for my personal projects, and when speed is required also for professional ones.
So, when I started using React for SPAs, I obviously chose Semantic UI React and I am very happy with my decision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main thing I do not like about Semantic UI React is that customising their components can be really challenging. In my honest opinion, they abuse the CSS '!important' rule, which is a problem sometimes when you need to give a small cusomised look to their components (e.g., slightly change the color of a button).
A last thing I did not like about the React version of Semantic UI is that animations are not working as well as they did for its jQuery version. As an example, if you want to add an animation when modals open you have to do lots of workarounds with the Transition component. I mean, the transition does not come by default with the Modal component, and in some ocasions dealing with Transitions can be quite tedious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Semantic UI React is the CSS framework. It has a great feature where we can integrate it with React js. it can also be used in Angular and View.Js. It provides designed components for React and also some styled classes by which using the class name we can give styling to the element. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It comes with some limitations like the customization can be a little difficult as compared to material UI and also it charges for it is comparatively more. It comes as in the bundle of js modules which might be large in size. Sometimes it is difficult to use for extra ordinary styling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Semantic UI is easy to use and integrate.I am working on an Chatting Applicaiton, users chat with their friends. I am using Semantic UI in that project.
It contains a wide variety of components and easy to use in our application, the documentaion is well structured and begineers friendly.
The Tryit and codesandbox feature is really awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although it contains a wide variety of components in Sematic UI, but I didn't find navbar or menu. or i missed it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

semantic ui is one of the best ui libraires i am familiar with the it gives you components which are jquery free the api is so smooth and you can implement it in your project like butter there are auto state managed components which helps a lot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The aut state managed and props managed compoenents can sometimes be a hassle and can have issues which we cannot access as it is a predefined in the libabry we need to overwrite it which increases the code complexity Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I personlly found this react library to be easy to use. Semantic UI React provides us semantic naming, responsive design and consistent styling. It helpsed me to create accessible components and integration with react ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one thing I dislike about this library is that it contains large number of components and styles which lead to large bundle size of the application. Also this library provides limited control over styling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is a open source framework, to build the web application Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
less responsive design, semantic does not support internet browser Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a very powerful frontend library for react. It uses SCSS style sheet instead of CSS for styling. SCSS is faster and better. It is very easy to learn and also has typescript definition file. It helps to create responsive web app by providing grid component. It helps to create consistent design by providing header and footer components. In this way it has lot of inbuit components which we can add according to our use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It still has problems with mobile devices such as iphone. Some old browsers also cause problems. It misses some components such as color picker and date time input. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simple install and usage. One more thing is also SCSS stylesheet usage instead of CSS in JS. Using scss allows user to create faster and more customized views than them created in CSS in JS. It has also typescript definition file which is pretty good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It looks a bit "verbose", it is good enough to use it in internal administration panels but for website front page propably not. It is also missing some essential features such as Datetime input, tag input, color picker and autocomplete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The default components are really easy to use and fit the fast developing norms Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is harder to make custom components and reuse the on other pages Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Semantic UI React is a very useful front-end library for React applications. It is easy to learn and use. I used it once for my client project and I benefited from the velocity and consistency of using it. Semantic UI enables developers to build websites with fast and concise HTML, along with a complete mobile responsive experience. We also got introduced to the React version of Semantic UI, Semantic UI React, which allows us to use Semantic UI in our React apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Using any library or any framework means some limitations besides benefits. So one of the things that I don't like is it sometimes limits the freedom or flexibility of development. Semantic UI React doesn't provide any styling as of now, it generates valid markup. So developers still need SUI's compiled CSS. Also, it sometimes has issues with mobile devices such as iPhone and iPad and old browsers which developers have to find workarounds or polyfills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
