What do you like best about Securly MDM?

Securly MDM has helped our school achieve excellent control over our Apple devices. We use it to lock down features on our MacOS and iPadOS devices. It is simple to use and gives additional functions not offered by Apple like password reset and passcode clearing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Securly MDM?

The user interface is somewhat dated. Although the functionality is there, functions are sometimes difficult to find. There are a few controls that operate very differently, but are similarly named. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Securly MDM solving and how is that benefiting you?

Without Securly MDM, I wouldn't have a way to push apps and updates in batches. I would have to go to each individual device to accomplish that. There's also function locking to prevent students from accessing and changing settings . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Securly MDM?

Managing our devices across our district is super easy. Every setting we have thought of is available through the console. Also being able to organize the devices by location or position makes it easy to find our devices. The console is very user friendly and it is easy to find devices based off of name, location, or serial number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Securly MDM?

The only feature that is missing is to be able to set a locked background per device. I would like to be able to set a background that displays either the name of the device or the number that labels the device in the cart. It would be nice to have a new feature to be able to set background that contains the device name. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Securly MDM:

I have used other device management software and this seems to be the easiest to manage. The only feature missing is being able to set background of devices based off of device name. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Securly MDM solving and how is that benefiting you?

Installing apps across carts is a breeze. I also like that you can assign devices to certain users. Removing devices from the console is about as easy as I could imagine. I also like having the ability to create a default desktop organization including folders for all devices in a certain location. It is very easy to find devices when searching and you can switch out a device in the console in a matter of minutes. Great software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
