What do you like best about SecureLink Enterprise Access?

I love the available resources such as the SecureLink University for training and learning, access to Technical Support, and the always available specialists that can meet anytime that week if we have questions. Everyone encountered so far has been amiable, helpful, and very kind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecureLink Enterprise Access?

The only thing I dislike about SecureLink is the fact that the actual server s subject to so many attacks as it is on the Internet and not air-gapped. The gateway is behind firewalls but the main server seems to be under such constant assault that I fear it may one day be hacked. It is supposedly closed to certain access but it could still be at risk with any vulnerability in a protocol. Wonder if there are fixes for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SecureLink Enterprise Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

It gives us a better solution for external access for the vendors which provide the tools we use. We can decide on who can access what asset and when, we can automate the creation of their accounts, and even determine the amount of access given to different users. We realized that it would be a great alternative for internal users as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SecureLink Enterprise Access?

The most helpful feature is the ability to allow users to register on their own. MFA is enabled allowing more security in regards to terminated employees at other companies. The ability to watch sessions as soon as they have finished and are disconnected allows us to see exactly what work was done and how the issue was resolved. Email alerts upon connection to our resources also allows us to get up to date information on when contractors are connected to our systems. I like the fact that when a registration form comes in we are immediately notified and are able to approve the request easily either by logging into the site or via the mobile app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecureLink Enterprise Access?

The one feature I wish SecureLink had was the ability to upload your own logo. I wish the mobile app added a little more functionality as at the moment it only allows you to approve pending requests. If it had the ability to disable access or change current access I believe it would be more helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering SecureLink Enterprise Access:

I would definitely recommend SecureLink for anyone who is struggling with access to their systems by contractors. It has eliminated the need for VPN connections and has made our environment more secure. The fact that we no longer have to enable and disable AD accounts whenever a contractor leaves or comes on board to another company sold us right away. The ease of use from registration to connecting to our systems has made it easier for contractors to get connected quickly and securely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SecureLink Enterprise Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

The problem that was solved for us was being able to control when contractors can and cannot access our systems. Being able to approve access for a certain period of time has helped. When using a VPN for access rather than SecureLink, we would never know if an employee at another company was terminated. This left a huge hole in our security, leaving accounts active that should have been disabled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SecureLink Enterprise Access?

The best feature of SecureLink is that their platform is not overcomplicated for any IT professional at any level. Their UI is straight forward and easy to interact and administrate while all the secured complexities are integrated in the backend of the software by the SecureLink developers. That makes the SecureLink platform a dream come true for any busy IT professional who is looking to provide effective vendor support solutions to their business, but also something that will not require hours of attention taken away from your day to day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecureLink Enterprise Access?

Honestly, SecureLink is a full package vendor support software program that is not lacking in any areas thus far in my experience with them for almost 2 years now. They are dominating their space from all areas; from tech support, customer service, sales support, and not to mention the program itself provides effective solutions for remote support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering SecureLink Enterprise Access:

If you have multiple vendors the you manage and need to provide them a secured method of connection to your network, then you can rest assure with the high level performance and exceptional customer service that SecureLink provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SecureLink Enterprise Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

I work for a huge hospital organization with a plethora of vendors. We were struggling with our own internal secluded VPN segment for support of our vendors only. This is difficult to handle and very time consuming. By using SecureLink, we now have the man hours back in i=our hand to focus on other IT business solutions focus goals. What do you like best about SecureLink Enterprise Access?

1. The platform is very versatile. It can be used as both a staff and vendor based remote access solution.

2. The security and auditing capabilities are very strong. You can record all logins, record the RDP sessions, and be notified of all events taking place on the platform. This allows easy review by information security personnel if needed.

3. Cross platform - The solution will run on any platform that can run Java applications.

4. The platform can handle many users with a relatively small amount of server resources in either a physical or virtual environment. As you scale your users the factor with the most impact on resource allocation is how much recording of RDP sessions do you want to store and how long do you want to keep them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecureLink Enterprise Access?

1. In some cases it can be a challenging product to maintain when you have many (hundreds) of users on the platform. We ran into this as we were using it as a remote access solution for staff during the current Pandemic. They are making changes to their platform to accommodate this use case now though so I expect it will be made easier in the future.

2. The platform was formerly licensed in a manner where you would pay per vendor company and then you could have as many users under that company for no extra cost. This has now changed to a per user licensing model which means it is more costly to run for a significant number of users.

3. Even though it is a strength, the fact that the platform does require the use of Java and on non-Windows based systems could also be a drawback. For some companies this may cause issues or present information security concerns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering SecureLink Enterprise Access:

Ensure that you carefully examine all of the costs associated with their new licensing model. Have a very good estimate of how your usage will be now and how it will grow to estimate these ongoing costs effectively. Also make sure your Internet bandwidth is sized correctly to handle the number of users you expect to have on the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SecureLink Enterprise Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

Secure Link has helped us reduce the need to have IT staff members sit with vendors on remote service sessions to monitor everything they are doing. Since we know the system is recording everything and we receive alerts when users login to the platform, it has reduced the burden on our staff. Secure Link also enabled our organization to rapidly transition to remote work when the pandemic hit, giving our technical team a major leg up on keeping the organization running at full capacity. We no longer have to worry about onboarding new vendors. We also find great benefit with SecureLink support being available to assist with vendor connectivity issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SecureLink Enterprise Access?

The Securelink solution and its ability to monitor and track our vendor's access to our network has been a game changer for our internal access request process. It has simplified the process and made it more secure and with the recent integration with our PAM solution it has become and even more secure method of accessing our network to the point where we don't even need to create individual user accounts anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecureLink Enterprise Access?

I wish it had the ability to access our Cloud environment. Currently it works great accessing our internal environment, but if we want our vendors to access our cloud environment we have to provide a jump box vs a way to directly login. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SecureLink Enterprise Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have solved all the issues we were having with our vendor accounts and their ability to access the network securely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SecureLink Enterprise Access?

I like that I am able to remove contractor VPN accounts from my network and provide them more secure and better experience using SecureLink. I've only received positive feedback from consultants and contractors using it. I'm taking a cruise ship and making it a canoe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SecureLink Enterprise Access?

I don't dislike anything. I have received no bad reviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering SecureLink Enterprise Access:

Take a phased approach to implementation. Do not do all vendors at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SecureLink Enterprise Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm solving major risks that contractor VPN accounts present such as excessive access. Implementing and maintaining firewall rules and ACLs can become very cumbersome and SecureLink solves that problem too. I also get to see what exactly contractors are doing as well for accountability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
