Great tool for accessing all your servers within a network. A lot of customization and functionality are offerred as well for ease of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The public key added to one server applies to all servers, and you have to manually change that setting from global to personal session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This has been the best piece of software that I have ever used. Being able to keep access to all my network devices from 1 location is extremely helpful. It allows me to setup up how I want to connect to each of them, what users I want to use, and group them by location and what they are. You can even secure the software to where if someone has access to your computer for some reason, they cannot see your devices as it is encrypted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is licensed per user, and to upgrade it. You possibly need a newer license to use it. Outside of that, there are not many dislikes of this product what so ever and it works like a champion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SecureCRT has a lot of features that help to manage sessions. One of the features which I like is session management. You can manage a lot of sessions in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The license price is very high if you use this solution in your organization. And the license is not a lifetime. You can not upgrade upper release although you have a license. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to build your network switches in a single tool. Allows for quick management of all devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Exporting configuration and device list can take a while. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The keymap editor is just the next level when dealing with connections and scripts, you can set a key combination to connect to a specific device and then set a different key combination to run a script, so with several easy to remember customized key combinations I can run several tasks in seconds and shuffle between devices and have everything logged. When dealing with 20+ devices things that take 3 minutes to set up in SecureCRT can take hours in other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not intuitive unless you have a background in engineering or computer science and you have to remember your binds or show the popup to remember them. If there was a way to have the binds in a sidebar directly on SecureCRT that would make this even better, it is already on the wishlist of features so I guess it is just a matter of time. Whenever I have to connect to any remote device with a CLI the best option is to use a program that has good stability, a good way to automate logins and concurrent connections with different settings per device and that is the description of the features available on SecureCRT and as a bonus, it allows easy TFTP transfers for whenever they are needed. The license price is kind of expensive. Unless you are an engineer and work with servers or networks for a living paying the price is just not justified and that is perfectly ok but that also means that you need to learn all features until you buy the license because there is not a free version out there.
