Product Description

Opvia is a flexible, no code software solution, designed to allow research teams to build compliant, integrated, versioned SOPs that bring their team and data together. Turn spreadsheets into interconnected tables with a familiar spreadsheet interface and the functionality of a database. Store your entities and their metadata in one place so you can see their current state (e.g. location) and results (e.g. experimental data) . Turn documents into version controlled data workflows and convert your repetitive workflows into templates that are ready to execute with a click. Follow a protocol, document your work, and upload, visualise and run custom scripts on your data, whilst simultaneously pushing into a master data repository. Develop Quality Processes by using version control to introduce review processes to ensure compliance and iteratively improve processes. Produce retrievable and traceable data that you can trust. ‍

What do you like best about Seal?

The system is incredibly flexible, the system has been rapidly built up around our needs, particularly how we intend to structure date. Previously we were using Microsoft office suite and paper; this is a massive upgrade compared to those. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seal?

The flexibility of the system means that initially, we needed to think about how to structure properly our data. The Opvia team were really helpful it supporting us during this process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Seal solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bringing all our data into one place, previously it was siloed in excels/paper. As a result we can now run more detailed and informative analysis on this data because we can see its full context. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The flexibility of the platform. Every day, we discover something new we can achieve on the platform. What problems is Seal solving and how is that benefiting you?

Helping us connect data across our teams. We can retrieve data & the information behind it so much faster through the linking functionality. We used to waste so much time searching through folders, spreadsheets & paper documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Seal?

Opvia is user-friendly : it is pleasant to use on a computer or a tablet. The entries are easy to create and fill, with all the options needed. The live mode ensures you have your work saved anytime, and you can create your templates to write your experiments faster.

Everything is easily linkable, it helps a lot with daily work. The record submissions tables are connected with databases, and allow every sample or reagent to be directly linked to the experiment.

The customer service is really efficient and fast when you have questions or needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seal?

Not much to say. You must think about organizing your work before creating the collections and entries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Opvia allows me to link all the samples I am working with very efficiently and keep track of what is done in the lab with a few clicks. The databases are super user-friendly and truly helpful. The whole platform is flexible and can adapt to the needs of different teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seal?

It can be time-consuming to set up, but once it's done, it's worth it! Some of the word processing features are still being improved and can be frustrating for now, but the Opvia team is willing to help us optimize their platform to our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Seal solving and how is that benefiting you?

The team is growing, and it started to be a nightmare to find specific information. All our data are now centralized and linked within the different databases. It makes our lab life so much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The technical support team, the unique and obvious approach Opvia took for digital records and execution workflows and data management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seal?

Too flexible at times.Canned templated solutions would be helpful for adoption however, I am told these are in the works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Seal solving and how is that benefiting you?

Transitioning from paper batch records for manufacturing with data collection and driving quick user adoption. Opvia is the cleanest and most straightforward way to do paper on glass but incorporates the data collection you are looking for with digital transformation. What do you like best about Seal?

I think the support that Opvia was able to provide us was extremely valuable. The platform itself is very flexible so we were able to get it set up to our exact requirements and quickly migrate all of our documentation across. There are also options for further support in terms of templates and consultants which we are potentially interested in using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seal?

The platform has templates and recommendations on how things should be set up, but we did need to think quite a lot about how we would structure the quality system within Opvia, given how flexible it is. However, I imagine this would have been the same regardless of which system we chose. Either way, the Opvia guys were very supportive in setting up the platform strucutre. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Seal solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bring all our quality documentation into one place, record trainings, acknowledgments, manage audit events and CAPAs/Non-conformities - we were previously using a paper-based system, so its made a big difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Seal?

Really simple and intuitive interface, was able to get things set up within a few weeks and have all our SOPs and documentation moved over. A lot quicker and less cumbersome than some of the other eQMS systems I have worked with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seal?

I had an issue a few weeks ago when I wasn't able to convert some of my SOPs that were on word, they've recently brought out a feature that will allow me to do this instantly and thus saves me a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Seal solving and how is that benefiting you?

Quality management system - have all my quality and process documentation in one place so that we are audit ready for when we get our ISO standards in a couple of months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Seal?

Very intuitive and easy to use. Really useful functionality which has made my life so much easier. I would also like to compliment the Opvia team who were great in helping us get the platform set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Seal?

The platform is extremeley flexible so we're constantly finding new use cases for it, this can be a blessing and a curse as we are required to set up the platform for the new use cases. There is a time investment, but this pays back after a while! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Seal solving and how is that benefiting you?

All our data is now centralised, no more loose documentation. Our data is also processed and centralised directly from our instruments so we've automated our entire data upload facility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
