"Even the free version is great!"
What do you like best about Scratchpad?

I am now in sales leadership, but when I was a rep I found out about Scratchpad and implemented it to see if it would be helpful for my daily flow.

It made updating Salesforce SO easy. Just a couple of clicks and a bit of typing and I could update my whole pipeline in ways that wouldn't be possible in Salesforce alone (our in-line editing wouldn't allow for updates of all the fields that were possible to update in Scratchpad). And that was just in the free version!

Once I moved into leadership, one of the first things I did was run a quick training/introduction to Scratchpad for the reps in my department.

If updating Salesforce is a problem in your org, I'd highly recommend Scratchpad. It's easy to install, to use, and as a bonus it gives Google Chrome a fun daily picture background. Great product! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scratchpad?

From the free version I did not run into much that I didn't like. There is a max amount of updates, but only one of my reps ever ran into that threshold so it wasn't much of a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Makes updating salesforce so much easier"
What do you like best about Scratchpad?

Scratchpad makes bulk updating a specific salesforce opp so much easier, especially with some of the limitations of salesforce in-line editing. The integrate with salesforce makes things os much easier.

Most useful for inputting a bunch of opportunity information at once for whatever forecasting methodology your management uses (MEDDPICC, Force, etc). Especially if you leave it to end of the week right before forecasting call.

Also a solid tool for note-taking as it makes it easy to attach back to opportunities

Great CS team as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scratchpad?

Wish there was a better way to collaborate on note taking, example> have account specific notes that both you and your SDR are able to edit at the same time without them needing to click a link every single time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great pipeline management tool"
What do you like best about Scratchpad?

I utilize Scratchpad as a frontend for SFDC & to manage renewal opportunities. It is a simple UI and easy for me to quickly make multiple views to organize my opps. I can set those views based on my SFDC fields , which makes it easy to focus attention on specific accounts I need to target & then execute next steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scratchpad?

Nothing I can think of - It's useful and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use and Organize"
What do you like best about Scratchpad?

I like how I can keep things in place and organized. I can create filters and color code things which make it easy to prioritize things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scratchpad?

The description filter that is available doesnt update in salesforce. So when you put a note in there, you have to erase what was there previously and that isnt very efficient. It would be better if it kept track of everything by storing the data rather than erasing it. You have to erase it due to the limited space and its not convenient. I also don´t like that there is no place that shows you how many days you haven´t touched a client. There should be somewher that displayed this data so we can be more on top of things more easily. "The benchmark for every tool I've used since"
What do you like best about Scratchpad?

Simplicity, which is second to the overall customer journey. Customer journey doesn't actually get enough recognition across the board but everyone I've interacted with from marketing emails to follow ups about my experience have been really genuine and actually leave the impression that they are about customer success.

Product wise - integration is lightweight and very well thought out - be it with saleforce or Chrome. Stuff I never would have bothered tracking (and centralising contemporaneous notes and tasks) has been really useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scratchpad?

Not a scratchpad criticism - if your salesforce admins restrict how and where you make changes inside Salesforce it will hamstring your ability to use the get the most out of the tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Salesforce without the suck"
What do you like best about Scratchpad?

It's ease of use and simplicity. Data entry that used to take me hours within SFDC directly, now only takes me a few minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scratchpad?

My manager doesn't Slack me as often because he doesn't have to ask me to update SFDC :(

Also, they finally figured out how to limit the free version enough to get me to upgrade to the paid version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifying Salesforce efforts"
What do you like best about Scratchpad?

As someone who has used a handful of CRMs and loves technology and processes, it had been a while since I had been over 5 years since I'd used Salesforce, and what I came back to was pretty similar to what was offered when I left, which wasn't overly innovative or user-friendly. What I didn't have before was an integration with Scratchpad, and it's really made things so much simpler for me. I rarely spend time in Salesforce anymore, and manage almost all of my Sales-related activities through Scratchpad. The interface is simple and intuitive, and my onboarding and support from Vanessa Faircloth made it very easy to get going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scratchpad?

There's really nothing I dislike about Scratchpad. I wasn't looking forward to needing to learn another technology to go with a handful of other tools I didn't use in my other companies, but a 30-min call was basically all I needed to get up and running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helps keep a tidy pipeline and organized notes"
What do you like best about Scratchpad?

With Scratchpad I can quickly go through what opportunities I have open and edit the field that I reference daily (Next Step) as well as any other things that have changed. I make sure at the end of every week that everything is in order and not having to click into every opp and edit there is minutes and tedious effort I'm so happy to be able to skip with Scratchpad. I use Scratchpad notes for every single meeting I hold and recently started using the templates to make it even more organized. I love being able to see them all in one place, click in from my calendar and link them to opportunities. I'm sure it keeps my leadership happy that it's easy for them to reference what's going on in my deals and that they're accurately reflected in salesforce! I've reached out to the team with a coupe of random questions throughout my time using it and they're always SO quick and helpful getting back to me and making any changes. Huge fan. What do you dislike about Scratchpad?

I literally love it all, nothing I dislike about Scratchpad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Scratchpad makes pipeline cleanliness easy to achieve"
What do you like best about Scratchpad?

I set Scratchpad as my homepage when I open Chrome so that my pipeline can always be front and center. Being able to update all of my deals in a single place is much more efficient than clicking into each opportunity in Salesforce one by one. Updating my pipe used to be cumbersome and something I would push off, but the ease of Scratchpad motivates me to make updates whenever I open up my browser or get off a call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scratchpad?

One difficulty I have is changing stages of my opporuntities within Scratchpad given the required fields Salesforce requires to be filled out. I believe I can still work around this but an easier way to manage this would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
