I love that School Status tracks the communication between parents and myself so records are easily kept. I also love the ease in which that communication takes place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The new platform was difficult to learn. Many of my colleagues were unhappy with the change. When I was finally getting the hang of the new platform, our district switched back to the old one temporarily. Maybe with a little more training up front on how to maneuver the program people wouldn't have found it so difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the ease of sending out broadcast messages in my classes and I also love the personal messaging by email, text and/or phone calls --- and the accountability of recording for my personal liability coverage. The text feature has greatly increased our communication with families, in this day and age, adults are able to see and respond to a text and we can send out quick updates without a disruption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having to select primary contacts and maintaining those have made some communication errors with guardians that didn't recieve a message due to that not being selected. Also, as a groups creator, not being able to see other groups that other building administrators have created make it difficult to manage the groups feature so you have to ask who created which group to update those. SchoolStatus takes the guesswork out of translating to other languages. I love that I can send out an email or text and it's automatically translated for me! All parents get the information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a Physical therapist working in a public school setting, it has always been a professional development goal of mine to keep in touch with parents more than annually at parent-teacher conferences or IEP meetings. School Status has made this a reality, translating my messages into the preferred language of the family and allowing for this connection so I can share the vicotries that their child has had in their gross motor skills at school! The challenges I face are that the translation feature is often off- the reply sent by the parent translated to English can be difficult to decipher at times.
