I love SchoolStatus. It allows me to quickly and easily communicate with the families of my students. I like that I can send broadcasts to multiple families at once as well as individual messages. Communication with families is such an important part of a child's education, and I have received the most feedback from parents when I use this app versus some other means of communication. I haven't found many downsides to SchoolStatus. The app continues to be improved. Occasionally, it takes a bit to load a message, but that could just be a connection issue rather than the app itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SchoolStatus allows me to communicate easily with parents or guardians. I am able to send pictures or pdfs of things that students can work on at home. It allows the user to unsubscribe, for example, if a parent gets a new phone number and does not update it in the system. I also really enjoy the fact that I can call or text parents/guardians without having to give my personal number out. I am able to easily use and implement the fact that I can contact all parents as many times as I want. It also stores all of the messages between me and the parents. The least helpful thing about SchoolStatus is that you cannot unsend a message. If you accidentally send a message to the wrong parent or grab the wrong picture, you have made a bit of a snafu. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are many things that I like about SchoolStatus Classic. I love the daily attendance data that I receive, engagement logs and the abiliy to brodcast mass messages along with text messaging. I love that calls are recorderd. School Status is the mandatory method of communication to our parents for class, school and network newslettere, etc. School status is easy to use and implement and is used frequently by all faculty and staff members. I have worked in other schools that do not have school status. What I like about this program is that you can still have parent communication without needing to be at a school landline. This program also codes your personal number, so parents do not have access to it. Another plus is that you can message parents by texting.
