Reporting was a major value add, however the value ended there. Warranty was promoted as a similar approach as OEM but this was not the case. They work more like an insurance company as they make money by how often they don't service a device. In addition, they solf this service as a 24 hour turn around time however, when you need them, they state industry shortages and major delays. They should update this in their SLA. The account managers don't care about you at all and send very general responses. I was also promised a $300 credit that I am not able to use. I have been lied to time after time with no way to escalate. This is not a misunderstanding of policy or fine print either. I have cancelled my renewal and will never use this company again. ScalePad is briliant for making a clear image of a clients Computer/Server hardware inventory. Being able to give this exported report to a Business leader or their Finance team helps them plan machine and server replacements. As well as making informed decisions on Warranty lifecycles. It integrates fully with Connectwise platform and Automate and is built specifically for MSPs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the platform goes down and you have to wait a little bit for the webserver side to reboot or the issue to be resolved by their team. The new UI can be a little funky to navigate having gotten use to the original UI. The integration sync for new clients can be finicky if the settings in Connectwise aren't right for a new client. I love how easy it is to work with the customer service staff, Geoff is a great help in getting us set up. it is also super easy to integrate with products like Datto RMM, and the reports. are super simple to print off. we use it every time we go into a TBR with a client. While the platform is robust, there can be occasional delays in syncing data from connected systems, which can cause a slight lag in asset updates. ScalePad is the best tool for a MSP and should be a must. The simplicity of the reports it generates and the ease of tracking the lifecycle of our customer assets is exceptional.
