What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

I like that there are many options to help with the quarterly continuing education we want our staff to do. We can customize it to fit our wants and needs; the best part is that it is FREE! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

While it may have tons of options for training, there are still some areas I would like to see. We deal with Customer Service for NEMT and there wasn't much that pertains to NEMT, but we did make what we could find work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is helping us solve the issue with training. Coming up with something new can be difficult when searching the web and EdApp seems to have just about everything we need in one spot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

It is really helpful for those who are arriving at a new workplace, with bite-size training and great knowledge checkpoints, quick sharp lessons make the learning journey very effective Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

As it does feel like it is a mobile-first learning platform. It is a bit trickier to perform detailed web application style training as the resolution of those videos and images make it tricky to train detailed screens Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

As we work for a time and attendance provider, it's great to partner with a product that supports the learning journey for staff members that are arriving potentially on-site for their first time. It really streamlines the learning journey and removes a lot of team member anxiety Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

What I like most is that I can create different lessons within a course, I can create categories or groups to further customize the training, the analytics information is amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

What I don't like is that when uploading a video, you can't rotate the view, meaning I turn my phone with the screen horizontally and the video doesn't get bigger. If that can be modified, the functionality would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are evaluating using EdApp for formal training. In the company where I am a consultant, it is helping us because it is more intuitive for the employees and provides us with many reports on each course and usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Being able to create content quickly that looks good and is engaging for the end user. Content creation isn't stressful and after looking across multiple LMS providers, EdApp's content creator is the best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes due to network connections, it has staggered in the past. However this is probably down to our internet rather than Ed Apps. API's for certain things are not there yet Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is solving the issue of getting tool box talks and risk assessments out to drivers and warehouse operators without them having to come into the office and work on a PC, it is perfect and ideal for mobile learning which is getting our compliance figures through the roof!! What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

I love that there is a wide range of features that is available to not only display information but to keep learners engaged through activities. The course authoring tools are also easy to use with a focus on mobile-first approach makes it a very relevant tool for training in my organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

1. Generally, it's been great but it could be better if the CSS parts could be made into a broader range of present options.

2.Sometimes the text options (black/white) will not match with the background. Could be intergrated better.

3. Would be awesome if some kind of scenario-based feature in the lessons to be more immersive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

In the time covid, it has been an absolutely useful tool to keep training our teams remotely yet in an engaging manner. The leaderboard and analytics have also been extremely useful to track progress and dish out rewards for top learner scores. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

EdApp is super easy to use and the user experience for the person taking the masterclass is great. I love the gamification of the course and how professional it looks when you are taking the class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

I wish the integration to Hubspot was not a paid feature. I also don't like the delay it takes for analytics to show up. It sometimes takes 30 minutes-an hour when we start pulling them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were looking for a free tool to host a masterclass for our customers. EdApp was the nicest looking, most user-friendly tool we came across. We have had several people sign up for the masterclass and are successfully using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

The thing I like most about EdApp is how easily even a beginner can create courses and lessons for learners, also because there are so many relevant courses in their library already, especially the sales ones.It is one-stop solution for all our training needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

Nothing much, but it would be better if we could hold the classroom sessions like on Gmeet and score the assessments and get a percentage or grade on the tests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

EdApp solves a lot of our training problems, like making training fun, self-paced, creative, and trackable and keeping everything in one place. We now know what the learner is doing in the offline tasks assigned to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

We like that it has the ability to be used on mobile and on desktop. We also like the ability to be able to add in achievement badges--which are completely customizeable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

Using EdApp on a laptop or desktop can feel a bit clunky; it's clear that everything is designed for mobile and that it was then ported to a desktop version, but that hasn't been a dealbreaker for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a training solution but were running into several issues: most were far too expensive and appeared as if they would take hundreds of hours of setup. EdApp appears to offer a solution to both of those issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

I'm most impressed with the learner engagement features. The courses and lessons are viewable on the learner's cell phone, which makes learning easy to access. This accessibility increase learner engagement. Other features which promote learner engagement are prize draws, social learning, leaderboards and practical assessments. Also, the price point is reasonable compared to other learning platforms. The customer support is top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

The canned content, though well done, is not as comprehensive as other platforms. They are, however, building it out so eventually, the breadth will come. Also, the capability to edit their canned content and make it your own if fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

EdApp solves the problem of providing training that's timely and accessible. Since we have grown to numerous locations, our old training method of bringing everyone to the corporate office became obsolete. Covid also eliminated the option of brining everyone to the corporate office for training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

How easy it is to understand and use. I felt comfortable with the system after about 10-20 minutes. I think EdApp's unique capabilities lie within the interactive session elements, making my lessons much more engaging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

Sometimes I think it's hard to start from scratch when creating lessons. There could be more sample lessons to use as templates and build off. There are so many options, it was difficult at first to figure out what I wanted my lesson to look like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

I value EdApp because it helps solve the inaccessibility of education applications. I have found that no other website provides the capabilities with Ed App's easy-to-use design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
