What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

The only thing that I think they could improve is how some of their windows sometimes appear to be low res on my screen. I will try to take a screenshot and share it with the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

Easy to use

Make courses very quickly

Loads of different templates that can be used

Their live chat is birlliant and help is always at hand. Never dissappointed by their team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

Because it's easy to use and is template based there are certain restrictions. For example you can't do complex animations between slides.

The image sizes are different for different templates and is a bit of hassle to keep changing the sizes of images according to the type used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps us provide short impactful courses on demand and very quickly. This is important for us as it allows us to be agile to business needs.

It's mobile first approach works for us as a lot of our engineers are on the field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

I particularly appreciated the prompt responses to any issues and problems we encountered.

They nailed the brief we provided, and the quality of the content created for us was of a very high standard.

They took the time to understand our business to gain valuable insight that enabled excellent outcomes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

There is nothing that I disliked about working with EdApp. They moved mountains to achieve the outcomes in the time frames we provided them. We really felt valued and, at all times, were made to feel like a priority. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a solution to re-do some ancient online SCORM training modules to refresh them, bring them up to speed and make them more relevant to the learners within our workforce. As a result, we now have a new flash suite of training modules broken down into short, sharp courses that enable the learner to understand the content being delivered. This means less time is required for our Site Managers to schedule new team members behind a computer during onboarding and more time grasping concepts with hands-on experience. What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

As a training coordinator, I loved all the options for digital & mobile training. We have many digital forward generations working for us, and handing them a packet to read doesn't provide the results an interactive interface does. There are also SO many design layouts available to keep the testing engaging and fun, no more monotonous, boring reading! Also, you can't go wrong with the free version; it provides so much that it's perfect for any start-up or non-profit like us! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

I honestly didn't come across any feature I didn't like. The value for the pricing offered is INSANE and how could you be upset with a free version that beats out its competitors who charge insane amounts! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

First of all, EdApp's #educateall mission with UNITAR is strongly aligned with our company's values. As we help solve issues with our mission, it's incredible EdApp is doing the same for their mission. Also, the fact EdApp is providing affordable training platforms for small businesses helps solve our problem of being tight with budget constraints. This is a company I want every small business I know to work with, as good training is the foundation for successful operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

Edapp offers the teachers the possibility to create animated courses in a very easy way. Many templates are available for the lessons whether it’s a text or a quiz.

The teacher can prepare a course and publish it whenever he/she wants and he can add as many students (users) as he wants.

Not only the teaching experience is amazing but also the learning experience is exceptional and motivating especially that the students earn stars on the correct answers on quizzes.

The students can also learn at their own convenience which make it easier for each student to evolve at his own rhythm.

The teacher can also analyse the users' login and activity feed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

Nothing, i like everything about edapp.

It's very well done and the paid version gives also many other features like prize draws and prize templates to motivate students more and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helped me teach hundreds of students Python in a very easy, precise and motivating way and it helped the students review several times the course as many times as they wanted.

It helped all the school : teachers and students make a quick progress in Python. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

EdApp allows our employees to log on to complete the required training at their convenience. They incorporate several points systems to motivate employees to do their best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

In the EdApp subscription plans, they offer to help companies create online training from current PowerPoint slides. There are limitations though, to what they believe is the appropriate length and content of online training and so what they offer looks like a lot but really is not. They also take about two months to finish a project. The app is easy to work in, and I am usually able to complete them in a day or two. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Working in the Oil & Gas Industry, it is difficult to get all of our employees to come in at a set time to attend our safety meetings. EdApp is allowing us to record and send out our meetings to those unable to attend. They also have a variety of topics already in their system for us to utilize. What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

Having an all-in-one LMS and authoring tool is very desirable. I especially like how easy it is to author a course. Having a course library is very helpful too. It is editable and growing all the time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

One of the downsides of EdApp is that there is not currently a better structure for adding individual users to courses as needed. As an admin, I want my "Manager Analytics" users to be able to register their users into courses as they wish. As an admin, I am not able to register individuals into courses. I am required to register based only on user groups. This is annoying quite frankly. It seems very restrictive.

What would be a great solution to this, is having a course library that is searchable by a user. Then that user can choose to register their self into the course as they wish. I do not want to make my courses universally available, but at the same time, the manager who has that access, should be able to register their employee without having to go through me (the admin). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

EdApp is solving several problems for my company, which are listed below.

1. Streamlining our company's training into one all-inclusive platform.

2. Offering an easy-to-use authoring tool eliminates the need for designers who are previously trained in ID software (or having to spend a lot of time training someone in ID Authoring).

3. Tracking completions and reporting options with availability to review by managers in sites (rather than always coming to me for these records).

This option has brought our company's classroom efforts into the 21st century. Our employees are much more engaged in the classroom training process, and they are getting through the content easier (and faster) than with site-based trainers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

I have found the library of courses to be an excellent way to start building relevant content and to learn how the various slides work. Being able to use these to put together a portfolio of courses, branded in our own design, has been a fantastic experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

I haven't really come up against any barriers with EdApp so far. Everything is very logical, and the support we've received from EdApp has been excellent. Perhaps having more library content that is UK-based would be helpful, but maybe that will come with time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were keen to create an e-Learning platform for our membership, but the potential costs were a barrier to entry. I was also concerned that any platform we invested in would be clunky or not feel engaging and modern. Thankfully, EdApp has proven to be the exact opposite - offering a free introduction into e-Learning on an engaging platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

I love the authoring and ho interactive the entire program is. There are so many options available that the user doesn't get bored as you go through different lessons and courses. As an admin, they've made the process so easy that just about anyone can create an effective lesson. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

User Groups are kind of confusing to me. I'm used to a more traditional setup of hierarchy, creating stores and adding team members to those stores. I'll get used to user groups though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our previous training program consisted of a lot of plain reading lessons, a few videos and basic quizzes. We weren't getting any engagement and were finding that users would open a lesson and close it without reading the content. The learning was minimal. With EdApp, we are seeing much more engagement and learning and have seen better performance and consistency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
