The product stands out for making data integration for numerous sources straightforward and seamless. It has allowed my team to quickly stand up efficient marketing analytics and workflows. The integration of AI for conversational data handling and transformation is particularly nifty. That combined with the low/no code approach makes the platform a no brainer for our team. There is room in adding more connections and increase data integration beyond its current offering. Additionally, solutions can be developed to help deal with more tricky integrations where connections need to be re-authenticated on a periodic basis. Savant saves me hours of manual work each week both by consistently delivering reports to stakeholders, but also by allowing my team to injest external data sources as new challenges are presented. The interface is easy to interact with when configuring new jobs and altering existing bots, and the team is always quick to assist whenever an issue or question arises. Wether it's auditing data from different accounting systems, importing new data points for the Compliance team, or getting timely updates to the sales teams, Savant has tools to increase efficiency in every department of the business. It would be great if Savant could allow for Automation based on our Business Day calendar in the future. While we love the Monthly, Weekly, Daily features, being able to cut down on computational use by selecting only the 2nd business day of a month for certain Bots would be incredibly helpful. Savant has a comprehensive list of out of the box integrations that aligns with our business. My favorite thing about Savant is its flexibility in solving complex problems quickly. We have relied on it heavily for building quick data integrations to snowflake, as well as for short and long term reporting solutions for uncommon requests. The Savant team is also constantly iterating and improving the product, which leads to quick turnaround times on great new features. The general UI is also very effective and has improved immensely over time.

The main thing I would ask Savant to improve is more thorough documentation/tutorials, especially for Gen AI features. There are a lot of great features being released all the time, so it would be beneficial to have documentation more integrated alonside Savant, as well as highlighting upcoming trial/preview features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The big plus of Savant is its ease of use. The data accessibility capabilities are incredibly simple. When we were meeting with Savant, in the first demo they had me log in and I was ble to quickly access my data and produce analysis. Every tool prior felt like smoke and mirrors and when you actually start analysis, it's a big slog to get things working. Savant's drag and drop capabilities and analytics workflows were easy to use to produce insights and to drill down into further insights. I have experience with other tools like Alteryx that message cloud but are cumbersome. Savant is truly cloud-native -- easy to activate, scale and run without the back-end fumbling or additional licensing costs to share it across the company. For our marketing analysis my group was impressed with the one click access, simple data prep and manipulation, and fast analysis. With the generative AI capabilities, you don't need to be a SQL jockey or have special expertise. They have a good array of jumpstart examples, but it would be good to see even more examples to leverage. Ditto on the documentation. What is there is easy to understand, but more application templates would be helpful. Savant lets you start instantly with no software installation. It just just works. They have out-of-the-box integration with the most common data and analytics products, and their Slack integration allows easy delivery of insights to end users based on alerting on metrics. Unlike other analytics automation tools, scheduling is included and completely cloud native. Savant's use of generative AI in the tool makes it even easier to use, along with its intuitive interface. Delivering information out of systems like SFDC and creating two-way integration with it makes the job for sellers SO much easier to update account records or forecasts in a simple spreadsheet interface. Savant is a newer product, and I'd like to see more analytical templates for common use cases. For example, marketing attribution is a common and complex process/calculation that could use Savant's simplification. As we work with students/analysts new to the industry, sometimes they do not have deep technical knowledge. Savant’s ease of use and vast tool offerings like Gen-AI capabilities has meant those users can work with the data without having to learn any scripting or coding.
Coupled with Savant's capabilities for automation and sharing all through the same platform, we able to collaborate more efficiently.

My team started off building our own data analytics workflows, ETL pipelines, and data visualization tools ourselves internally. We often found we were having to reinvent the wheel every time we integrated a new data source or needed a new way of representing the data. It became difficult to both develop a prototype, customize it, and scale it to meet our business applications.
Savant Labs came to our rescue. Their platform provides a very simple interface that allows you to quickly hook up our data streams, clean up our data, conduct operations at scale on our data, and set up a recurring job. Our team could do this with no code! Savant has come up with the only data analytics platform that I know of that allows you to build a data analytics pipeline by simply visualizing the workflow, drag widgets and connect their cables, and click run. I was able to generate reports in a matter of hours, which would normally take me days to build out in SQL. I was able to spend more time focused on the data and insights instead of worrying about optimizing my queries and backend configurations.
One area I was able to leverage Savant was providing insight into bottlenecks on addressing customer issues. We had a number of tickets that remained open for an extended period of time. We had hypotheses about where the bottleneck was in closing these issues out, but did not have aggregated data to validate them. We were able to hook up our JIRA ticketing system to Savant, and categorize the time in each stage a ticket was in depending on their component. With Savant, we were able to set up a workflow in a day that generated weekly reports identifying bottlenecks in our engineering workflow. We were able to work with the engineering team and catch many bugs that were getting lost and significantly improve our timeline for fixing bugs.
I think it is also worth mentioning the great team behind Savant. They are extremely responsive to any issues you encounter, and are always willing to sit down and help with any problems or bottlenecks I have encountered. I think it is also worth special mention how they have quickly been able to integrate generative AI into their platform. This has allowed me to try out novel ways of analyzing my data and has provided dividends to our business analytics workflows. I would have never been able to leverage AI to help clean up my data had it not been integrated into the Savant product.
I have also found their webinars extremely helpful and insightful in how teams have leveraged Savant for their business purposes. I have even picked up some ideas I have borrowed and used for my own business use-cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are two areas I would see improvements. Right now, when you sign-up for an account with Savant, you are provided with a blank canvas to start your workflow. They have a tutorial you can run through that provides you with a tour of the UI. However, it would be great if they had some sample data embedded in the system that I could play with and test out some of the features in free-form. This would particularly help with some of the features like GenerativeAI, which doesn’t have a tutorial built yet.
As part of my migration process, I had a number of SQL queries and existing custom workflows I was trying to convert to Savant workflows. As part of this transition, it would be great if Savant offered a freeform SQL interface that allowed me to input my existing scripts and convert it into a recommended Savant workflow. It would also be great if I could switch between the Savant Canvas and an SQL code workbook. I think this would help with migrating existing workflows to Savant Labs. Working within a small team, Savant allows for us to create ETL jobs without all the maintenance and setup that a custom script would require. This is especially useful in setting up custom workflows syncing data from business stakeholders into our reporting system and combining them with more structured data sources.
