Processing large datasets is much faster than traditional disk-based processing as the computations are performed in memory (RAM). It also supports advanced analytics like regression, decision trees, clustering, and machine learning algorithms. we have build regression model to identify loan defaulter by analysing bureau data. It is easy to use for experienced one and has good customer support as well. It can also be easily integrate with SAS Visual Analytics and SAS Enterprise Miner. The only dislike I want to mention is its high lisencing cost and infrastructure requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its Fast advanced analytics cloud based platform . the best thing about SAS Viya is single platform which consist all the analytics tools like Data preparation , exploration, cleaninig, building models, flows , Dashboard and many more. in SAS Viya
we can use any language to build models and it has drag and frop option to build models also.
for creating reports or dashboard SAS Viya has automated insights options. it is the fastest platform from SAS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As SAS Created Viya which will now replace the existing SAS 9.4 , so 9.4 clients struggle to learn or to integrate this tool SAS Viya.
SAS Viya is new so there are few specialised only who can give support to new clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Real-time data access, advanced programming features, easy to use or for beginners Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lack of user adaptation, High cost, Not easy to implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What stands out about SAS/QC is its robust suite of tools for quality control and improvement. It offers powerful statistical techniques and visualization capabilities, making it easier to analyze data and identify trends Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I find a bit challenging about SAS/QC is the learning curve; it can feel pretty steep for newcomers. The interface, while functional, isn't always the most intuitive compared to some other tools out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can efficiently handle large dataset for large scale time series forecasting significatly reducing time for modeling, significatly reducing model devlopment efforts.
Its also scalable and easy to integrate with other sas tools, making it more powerful for an organisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curve of SAS visual forecasting can be steep for users who are not used to SAS ecosystem. Also the licensing cost can be high making it not affordable for small business & startups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about SAS Visual Forecasting is its powerful and intuitive interface that simplifies complex forecasting processes. The advanced machine learning algorithms and automation capabilities allow for accurate and efficient forecasting, even with large datasets. Additionally, the ability to easily visualize and interpret results helps in making informed business decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One aspect I dislike about SAS Visual Forecasting is its sometimes steep learning curve for new users. The advanced features and extensive customization options can be overwhelming, requiring significant time and effort to master. Additionally, the software can be resource-intensive, potentially leading to performance issues when handling very large datasets or complex models. The cost of licensing and maintaining SAS Visual Forecasting can also be prohibitive for smaller organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sas Viya is a cloud based which helps to store manage large number of data seemlessly the best part is you can easyly access data, build models ,user friendly interface easy to learn and use the person with knowledege of base sas can also work with sas viya easly just need to gain some knowlede about the cas servers which is completely cloud based no loss of data even if you get disconnected . Creating ID is much more easies and faster in SAS viya Model manger under sas viya helps to deploy models ,and genarate alerts ,sas studio which works for both the cas server and compute server so we get everything under one UI Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
not much to dislike just some of the content from sas (.4 are not easly accessbile in sas viya Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simple UI, easy to use for beginner to select dataset, select target, and predictors, and remove parameter unwanted.
Built-in seasonality UI, including international calendar (though not all country was covered).
Ability to select various forecasting models.
There is macroeconomy feature with additional license. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The forecast accuracy result of just using the visual interface is considered as standard in the market.
In the end for serious demand forecast use cast that needs more accuracy, it will need specialized and deep understanding how the formula works, and go deeper into coding to improve the result. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I got to know it in the middle of my carrer, since then is the most important one on my daily basis Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Yet not the easiest for all new users, but evolving on that Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a SAS suite Provided in the Enterprise miner as additional feature to perform Advance text analytics on large volumes of text to find the common title, key buisness glossory.
Variety of language is supported for analysis and also data can be accessed from variety of filetypes like pdf, docs, html, database, etc.
Analytics node whose back bone are the alogorithm are built in superior way for advance analytics in SAS Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even though i like this tool much since it is a GUI based analytics tool but SAS also provides a advance superior tool "SAS Visual Text Analytics" which is more user-friendly and even easy for buisness user to learn and build text analytical models, which is complex for learning and implementing and needed support when faced issues Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
