I like that Sakai is a course page that controls all of the information and materials in one place. It is connected to our rosters and allows us to communicate with the entire group at once. I find it unwieldy at times, including when I try to upload multiple documents, or create multiple assignments at once. I think you need to entirely overhaul the sign-up feature, as the set up is quite laborious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The customizability. I like that I can set the site to look the way I want. The section setup is nice. You can set up an online class by creating units, which is very helpful. The user interface is somewhat confusing. Although, once you figure out out, it is not too bad. I don't know how to balance the customizability with a smooth user interface. As a student user of Sakai, it provided everything I needed to be connected to my classrooms inside and outside of the classroom as well.
