We've used Sage for over 5 years and it does everything we need. It's particular good with AP and AR as well as Payroll. I've particularly enjoyed the recent upgrade that includes a SQL Server database. It's very well documented and has allowed us to create powerful queries that automate a lot of the work we were doing from a reporting standpoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's Windows only. While this works for most of our organization, I'm a Mac user for every other aspect of my job. For whatever reason we couldn't get Sage to work on a VM running on Parallels so I had to repurpose an old Windows machine so I can remote into it to access Sage. Unable to export to PDF/Word without crashing. Expensive. Clunky overall. A setting that was wrong for one employee caused the entire company's time keeping to fail. Having to pay $225/hr for training and support. Server problems made several tax payments late.
When I was sold the product I was told that the timekeeping was free and would work on mobile. It did not work on newer Android phones, which was a known issue at the time, but I was not told. I spent 30 minutes on a chat with their support team about it and was told there was no timeline for an update, so I spent $2k on a third party contract.
