I am a fairly new user and find that most of the time, it is a very user-friendly program. However, I have had a few things that I could not figure out on my own. The customer service/technical support is simply amazing. The issues are always addressed in a timely manner. They are explained well and often include screen shots or broken-down step by step, easy to follow instructions. I believe that their customer support and learning centers really set them apart. There really isn't a downside to Rootstock Cloud ERP. We definetly don't use all aspects of what is offered at this point, but hope to utilize more in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Because Rootstock Cloud ERP is built on the Salesforce platform, it has allowed us to easily create custom objects for our unique business practices and relate them to our Manufacturing & Financial data within Rootstock. This gives us the ability to access all the information in one place and make it visible to whoever needs to see it within our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that has been somewhat of a problem is the quality of the upgrades (although they are focusing on improving on this in 2024), but you as a Customer also have the ability to test as much as you'd like in Sandbox before you upgrade to make sure everything is running properly. Online, browser based, mobility, and can be tailor made if need be. User training is generally shorter if you already use Salesforce.
Rootforms are a great tool.
Using the Salesforce reporting tool to extract ERP information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With customizations we run the risk of upgrade issues.
The financial package can be tricky to navigate.
While reporting is great, we need to refine the report types to ensure that users can create their own meaningful (and correct!) reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The connectivity with Salesfoce has been very nice to work with once set up correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support response time could be improved and keeping you updated on how things are going with the case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The flexibility to adapt to different scenarios regardless the complexity or requirements Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The naming or terminology used on some error messages or fields, sometimes it can be missleading. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The functionality of Rootstock integrated with the Salesforce platform has allowed our company to scale exponentially. ArchFab relies heavily on collaboration between finance, manufacturing and construction. Rootstock gives us the visibility and real time information to be successful in our growth plans. Getting the entire business of fincance and operations on a single platform has allowed all of our users to function at a high level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As with any implementation, building your system is a challenge but ArchFab was able to do this during the perilous 2020 when most workers were remote. The cloud made it much easier to make progress on our go-live. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rootstock was very easy to learn. I did not have much experience with other ERP systems and Rootstock is very logical system. IF you follow the training and successfully enter and clean your data, the system flows and you can access the data from various avenues. Our post-implementation support has been extremely helpful in navigating some of our errors in implementation (from our consultants). Suggestions by the Rootstock team to "turn on" various features that were not done during implementation have made a significant difference in our efficiency and abilty to analyze our data (i.e. Financal Analytics). I use the system everyday and the ability to export information is key for my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the downsides in reporting is that you cannot access each available object in every report. There is the ability to link reports together, but that is very technical (but also could be due to my lack of understanding). There are alot of upgrades that are being rolled out and it is difficult to keep up with the number of upgrades. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The seamless interactions between inventory, purchaseing, sales order process and work orders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Annual Renewal process and invoicing for suscription Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The inventory/manufacturing modules are excellent. Tremendous collection of useful data and processes. Inventory Management #1 for inventory control and manufacting heavy companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The accounting modules and external financial reporting are extremely weak. Multiple Customer Masters, the inability to send timely AR statements and only one email recipient for customer invoicing is an issue. The inability to create proper financial statements (need to upload into Excel) is a waste of time and resources. Every single change in the GL produces an additional export and Excel manipulation for internal and external compliant reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Built on the Salesforce Platform, this solution is a great cross-functional ERP system that leverages all the the Salesforce App exchange and the system has to offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The financial systems are still a work in progress. They are a smaller company, so development and customer service could be better, but they are improving drastically over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
