They have very powerful features. If they learn and update their UI and UX it would be awesome software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wonder how old people who say this software is user-friendly and what other software they use. If it was user friendly they wouldn’t need tutorials, because it is obviously what to click. In this case, some of the steps are against expected UX, like zooming with fingers is not working, they use scrolling gesture for zooming. To scroll you need to perfom something else.
You cannot preview what you are paying for in a free plan. You building something, you can it at different levels but need to pay how it looks all together. If you need to change something, you need to pay again. Even if it's something that you need to change because the software is not user-friendly. For example, I built a backyard with 2 shapes, you cannot combine them and they are visibly separated on the plan.
When you select different features you expect a description or preview of these features instead they show ads of their products not correlated to the selected feature which is deeply confusing.
Please hire a good UX designer and it will be an awesome app so far it's extremely difficult to use and it rather creates frustration over wasted time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
RoomSketcher is very user friendly and it doesn't take long to learn how to use it. There are a lot of YouTube tutorials should you run into questions. I love the library of furniture they have to choose from, and I love that I can show my plans in 2D and 3D. The plans once saved and printed are very crisp and clear. I've used other programs and the printed quality is much better on RoomSketcher. The feature to be able to type things directly onto the floor plan is so helpful, along with attaching labels to a piece of furniture. I work with older adults and the labeling and lists I can make are so helpful to them. Trine is also WONDERFUL - so nice and helpful and a pleasure to work with!! Just know that there may be a large time difference depending on where you are located, so if you email with a question you may not hear back immediatley. However this has never been an issue to me - we are in the US. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
very easy to use without any prior architectural knowledge. I am a graphic designer and I've been using this program for about 3 years now. I'm glad to be able to offer 3D models and 3D photo service options for my clients. I find the pricing fair. Overall very happy. I find that they are responsive when I have emailed a question. I would love the option of being able to move a whole room or floorplan together including the furniture, windows etc. That's not an option now, but I hope that will be an option in the future... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to learn, easy to use. Super cool results and stellar support! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would love to have a richer furniture library, more orientated towards offices and schools. Also, it would be great to make edits in bulk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using Roomsketcher for 4 years and learn something new and exciting on it every day. It is very user friendly and produces a beautiful diagram for my clients so that they can see their new space come to life before the actual move. So many of my clients are moving from large hoomes into Senior Living Communities, they have no idea where to start with the process, so I always start with a floorplan. The floorplan then serves as the roadmap to the move.
I love the 3D option and 365 video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a little tricky to figure out how to generate the floor plans, both 2d and 3d. This is always the biggest roadblock for my employees when I am training new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the speed of RoomSketcher. Drawings were completed in a day or less with minimal errors and useful design layouts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Modifications need to be done by you and there is a learning curve but ample resources are available online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Quick and easy to draw new floorplans to my costumers, use it on daily basis Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only thing i miss is the possibility to draw exterior roofsan that it is difficult to draw slatned walls Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the flexibility - different window and door styles, flooring and tile, and furniture options. I also love being able to customize some of the options, i.e. resizing and/or recoloring furniture, windows, walls, etc. It's also intuitive and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel that it's pricey compared to some of the other tools. I also wish the 3D renders showed lighting/illumination like some of the other tools (Roomstyler, Sketchup). Also, in order to get the views that I want, I usually have to put an opening in the wall which skews the lighting -- the floor ends up overly bright, and the walls are dim and colors distored. With a floor plan template, the room can be easily traced and filled with furniture, which is very practical. This also allows for great 3D snapshots to be created, and the 3D live view is just great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately, it always shows the used furniture below when I share the 3D Live View, which is unnecessary and uninteresting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like the template & object library, and how easy it is to create room structures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is atm no functionality for the Mac Software (don't know if Windows has it) to select multiple decoration element at once and move/delete them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
