RocketMatter is easy to use for tracking time and generating invoices. Reporting is also strong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The calendar function needs improvement. Notably, "all day" entries in Outlook do not show up only on the top of the RM calendar. Instead, they take up the entire page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For our firm, we only use the billing portion of Rocket Matter. Our firm is small and a lot of the features Rocket Matter has are not useful for us.

The billing - the inability to change dates of bills. To be able to put whatever date you want for a payment and/or bill. The reports - not enough filters. the program is very narrow on what it allows you to do.

You have to re-type events and time entries over and over instead of being able to easily duplicate or enter multiple things at once. It takes 10+ more minutes than usual to put in multiple calendar events or time entries. The calendar interface is ugly but functional. The Chat support is always well-intentioned but they honestly don't have most of my answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The report data is not always accurate, report names are ludicrous, dashboards load incredibly slow, language inconsistencies in reporting, timers overcompensate, and inability to edit payment info after an invoice has been generated or another payment has been posted. You should be able to go in and edit some of the descriptions but you can't. The printable reports leave a lot to be desired. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
