As a medium to a large and complex group of three non-profit and one for-profit corporation and a long-time QuickBooks user, I was frustrated with Intuit's customer support and sometimes overly complex processes. We were also really caught in between using desktop editions and the overly complex QuickBooks Enterprise, which was costly and had features far beyond our needs. When we found Right Networks, it was THE solution we were looking for, allowing us to host our licensed QuickBooks desktop edition and allow multi-user and multi-location access. We are now 18 months in and have three of our four corporations Company files on Right Networks with users across the U.S. and the globe accessing them with excellent results and plans to continue to expand usage.
I have also found Right Networks customer and tech support to be a twelve on my scale of 1-10! Knowledgeable and friendly human beings have been available and solved every challenge I have encountered without exception. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wouldn't really call this a "dislike," but I will say there is a little learning curve to get used to working in the hosted environment and the process of uploading and downloading documents and files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The communication between QuickBooks and RightWorks has been incredibly frustrating. Each company keeps blaming the other, making it impossible to get a resolution. When it was finally confirmed that the issue was on RightWorks' end, we spent 20 minutes on the phone with an agent—only for them to hang up. We got another agent on the line, but after an hour, they couldn’t resolve anything either.
Then yesterday, I spent three and a half hours on the phone, still with no solution. I was told to check back this morning, but instead, I received an email at 3 AM saying the ticket was closed because there was no response. Of course, I didn’t respond—I don’t work at 3 AM. When I logged in at 8 AM to check if the issue was resolved, it wasn’t, and now I can’t even use the ticket because it was closed before I had a chance to follow up.
This is beyond frustrating. I’ve spent nearly an entire workday just sitting on calls with no progress.The issue is simply getting our QuickBooks updated with an update that was released two weeks ago. Shouldn't RightWorks be updating the QuickBooks application the night the update is released? In the tech world, updates typically impact how an application operates, so you’d think this would be a critical priority for the RightWorks team.
From this experience, it’s clear that neither RightWorks nor QuickBooks truly stand behind their products. We’ve had nothing but issues since day one trying to use them together. This lack of coordination and support is beyond frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Every morning it takes me 20-30 minutes to open my Quickbooks desktop through Rightworks. I constantly get error messages and have to reload it multiple times. I have a new computer so I know it's not old technology. The integration is not good. I also have issues uploading my iif files through Rightworks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When I need help the right Networks representitive takes his time with me. He does not seem to be in a hurry or trying to get off the phone. Every time I have needed them the service has been great and I have resolved my issue in one call and not needed to call back or schedule for a new conference.
