Occasionally, my email accounts fail to sync, which means I have to keep signing in repeatedly. Switching between apps can also be problematic. For instance, when I try to move from one app to Google Docs to copy and paste something, it often doesn't work as expected. I end up having to copy and paste the text again, and sometimes I need to double-click for the text to actually appear in the Google Doc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that Shift keeps everything in one place to quickly view and manage. I have multiple work email accounts and slack/discord groups I am a part of and being able to quickly access them all in a single windows is fantastic. Every once in a while, external links don't sync well with Shift. (For example, I click on a business's WhatsApp link, but it doesn't send me to my WhatsApp within Shift.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I’ve been using Shift for about 6yrs. It was appealing because I am a contractor and have several different email accounts, both personal and business. Going between browser tabs or email applications was a huge time suck, not to mention slowing down my computer.

Shift allows me to have my 6 email accounts all on one application, easy to view, easy to switch between and all in one place.

I also utilize many of their plugins like WhatsApp web so I can add even more functionality to my space. Often times I can work just within Shift and reduce my distractions on outside browsers and tabs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI/UX continues to require manual password entry for apps in those workspaces, which can make it annoying to have to repeatedly re-type them and click the option for Shift to save the passwords, only to have to do that every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
