Let me start with the basic pros of Raycast. It sticks to the design language of Mac Os. It comes with bunch of extensions in built and you can do basic things like calculations.

I never do file search as I am relatively organised and tend to locate the files. When I tried (may be once or twice) to search files in Raycast it was bad experience.

Raycast is a superior Alfred alternative. Not only is it free but packed with a ton of useful features. Moreover, it is actively developed so updates are published frequently. Raycast itself is one of my best productivity tools – quick access to files, an advanced calculator, paste-bin manager and useful apps developed by the Raycast community are amongst my favorite features.
