It has instant feedback and is connected to google classroom. I can easily assign math problems to students. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That I haven’t had time to play with the non multiple choice options Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Quizizz is super easy to create quick, formative assessments and the students love "playing" the quiz, which is actually teaching them content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ONLY thing I dislike is the fact that you have to buy the paid version to reopen a certain quiz. A VERY MINOR DETAIL - I just assign the quiz again to reopen it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Quizizz in my class as a quiz/test review tool. My students treat it as a game and enjoy it just as much, if not more, than Kahoot. Because of this, they enjoy Quizizz and engage with it for the entirety of the game, rather than losing interest halfway through like they would in a regular test review session. I also like that after a student gives an incorrect answer, Quizizz provides the student with the correct answer and gives them a wait time before their next question, allowing them to read the correct answer choice. The only thing that I dislike about Quizizz is that students can get competitive to the point that they become angry when forced to wait, such as when Quizizz shows them memes after a correct answer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In Quizizz, I like that I can check for understanding in my math classes. I use the create a lesson option and make daily, short warm-ups. I can see how many in the class understand a concept and if I need to review that topic again. I also use Quizizz as a weekly quiz. It grades it automatically and inputs it into my Google Classroom. I use Quizizz as daily homework assignments sometimes too. The students can play Quizizzes during the week as many times as they want to get proficient in a topic area. I don't like that I have to pay for an upgrade to add some of the cool extras. Luckily, my school is going to pay for the upgrade! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Quizizz has more modern graphics than other programs and a better free version. The basic (free) version for teachers is limited to 100 participants, which is usually enough. The other program is limited to 10. They also have great music and features like "eliminate two wrong answers." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At this point, I dislike that they keep changing their policies, and they keep changing their documentation. But I understand that that is a sign of growth and progress. I just hope they don't get greedy and try to monetize the program beyond what most teachers can afford. Currently, most teachers can afford to use this fantastic tool. Quizizz is incredibly useful, as students have the questions on their own devices. You can post the leaderboard from your own device when playing a review game. Quizizz can also be assigned for homework or as extra review for students to complete on their own. Lastly, their new feature of Lessons has allowed me to teach concepts to the students and have them answer questions in the middle of the lesson. This is incredible helpful with distance/hybrid learning. It keeps all of the students engaged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that Quizizz had a matching or whiteboard feature that the teacher could grade. Normally I like the instant feedback Quizizz provides, but sometimes I wish I could see student thought-process on some questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

(1) Since I am a math teacher, I like using the equation editor (math templates) to make up my own quizzes, usually as fill in the blank, where students will submit an answer and need to match my answer. This is very useful because most of the students that I teach will go on to college. Prior to that, most will take an entry exam where text matching is very important.
(2) Quizzes can be assigned either as homework or done live in the classroom (either instructor paced or student paced). For me, the instructor paced gives immediate feedback to students. I can explain common errors and re-explain a certain topic. I given student paced quizzes not only for homework but also in class live. Students are into the technology (either use their cell phones or a chromebook)
(3) Record keeping allows me to go back and see student mistakes (if they want to go over a particular question) or double check a grade associated with an assignment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When a quiz is given, the results are still on student's phones after taking the quiz. This means that students could show students from later classes the questions and answers. So I need to make sure that the quizzes are different. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the “edit” feature. It allows users to borrow another user’s quiz and edit it to fit your needs. It saves time and provides rigor.
I also love love the ability to import my rosters from google classroom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Drag and drop does not always work. But that is so minute in comparison to all the perks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is very engaging. I use it to leverage the Testing Effect. This is a body of research out of educational psychology that shows that one of the best ways to learn anything is to take a test. the research is very robust it even shows that you learn when you take a test on a subject you know nothing about. Students who aren't winning don't have as much fun. I worry about those students who always end up on the low end of the scale. The competitive aspect is what makes it fun and engaging but gosh what about those other students I really don't have an answer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
