
Good tool to take notes and share it with colleagues. We leverage Salesforce CRM and with Quip, I can easily attach notes to business meetings with Customers directly to the Salesforce Account = everything is in one spot. Quip can be integrated with other platforms or data sources and you would just need to @ them to get those referenced. You can do a lot with @ like mention someone, add time or date. You also get a notification of the mentioned time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Handling with tables is not that smooth for me. I think we can add some more features present in google sheets if doesn't exist till now. Like Formula support and all. Also if you paste some photo in the last line of a quip doc it gets tough to work in the next line by inserting a new one, so I would just paste the photo in the second last line to not face that issue. It offers a great environment and tools to motivate me to edit files. I appreciate most that we can develop a specific goal and work towards it methodically, focusing on files and quality assurance. This tool is quite helpful in sharing papers. The ability to include real-time spreadsheet data and the fundamental document creation features of Quip are among its most vital points. It offers essential page linking, short reminders, a fine text-focused editor, and a few nice-to-have extra capabilities. Other basic tools like Kanban are available in Quip, however they are overly rudimentary and not very helpful for organizing actual work. Additionally, the task management system is overly simplistic and inefficient for actual work/project management. The long-term viability is definitely my biggest worry. Given that Salesforce acquired it and that their core product generates the great majority of their money, it is probably not a top focus.
