"Easy, Flexible Solution Building That Saves Users Time"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

It is easy to build solutions without complicated processes, unless you want to add those in. I like being able to build and do the heavy lifting for our users knowing that the work put into the build saves them time in their use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Integration with Quickbase can sometimes be tricky, depending on the system you are trying to connect. It is better than it used to be, but it is sometimes still a struggle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Easy to Use, Needs Better Test vs Production Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

I like how reliable Quickbase is, and how easy it is for our newer users to get the hang of it. I rarely, if ever, have complaints about downtime or lag with Quickbase, and I have a user base that is generally new to the platform, so it being so customizable and self-explanatory is great for users with no experience. The initial setup was very easy as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

On some of the more custom functions, the ability to troubleshoot could be made easier, as well as a more dedicated test vs production system. At the moment there is not a real system for dedicated test systems completely separate from production. If they added this, it would be a lot easier to troubleshoot and build custom functions and pipelines within our environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quickbase Accelerates Low-Code Development with Great Permissions and Real-Time Reporting"
4/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

I appreciate having a low-code platform that helps accelerate our application development and deployment with minimal effort. I especially like the role-based permissions and the real-time reporting features, for obvious reasons. Overall, Quickbase strikes a great balance between flexibility and consistency for me, which makes it easier to build, refine, and roll out apps with confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

It does have a few drawbacks, including an outdated UI, limited reporting capabilities, and the need to rely on third-party tools to get the best overall functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"QuickBase"
5/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase has a broad functionality that we can build ourselves. It's highly customizable, which was a major advantage over other platforms we evaluated, like Salesforce. We particularly like the ability to create specific landing pages for different user roles, and the dashboards that can centralize workflows from multiple applications are a big plus. The platform allows us to tailor applications very specifically to our needs, which is essential for our diverse data requirements.

Before using Quickbase, we had numerous spreadsheets and siloed data that didn't talk to each other, which was cumbersome and led to errors. Now, we have centralized our provider data and other critical information into Quickbase, making it much easier to manage and maintain. It has significantly streamlined our data upload processes, even though we still have some manual steps due to security constraints. The platform has also enabled us to clean up redundant fields and optimize our applications, which has improved data integrity and usability. Overall, Quickbase has helped us move away from scattered spreadsheets to a more integrated and efficient system.

Also, the Tech Support is great to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use, Powerful Data Insights for Our Logistics"
5/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase has been a solid tool for us, especially when it comes to managing the logistics of our food delivery program. One of the things I appreciate most is how well it integrates with other tools we use, like FastField. For example, we’ve been able to connect our bulk order forms directly into Quickbase, so every submission automatically creates a record in our Quickbase tables. It's very easy to pick up and lets us easily manipulate large amounts of data to gain incredibly useful insights on our processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

More customizability would be very helpful. We've found a lot of utility with the Code Page feature, but it lacks a lot of elements that traditional IDE environments have, like debugging and support for file structures. Pipelines could also be a little more intuitive. Otherwise, it has been a very easy to use and powerful tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quickbase Review - How non-programmers create Apps"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase is a quick way to create a data-driven workflow and has all the components you need to keep everyone in the loop with your progress. You can get an app up and running in one session.

If you want to add features, it is pretty easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Once you connect a data source, it's hard to make changes to the source without starting over. The good news it, you can get creative in your solutions to accomplish tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly App Building with Strong APIs and Integrations for better data consistency"
4/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

The best part about quickbase is how user-friendly and interactive it is to be able to create your own apps and develop ways on how to create records and databases that can rely with one another to ensure data consistency within the whole system. There are multiple APIs/pipelines as well that allow Quickbase to collaborate with other systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

I'm just beginning with the whole developing part on the whole so it can get overwhelming to start even with all of the available resources for self-studying and other peers that provide support in giving more wisdom and knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Data Management with Room for Reporting Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

What I like most about Quickbase is its mobile layers of complexity that are available but not necessary to utilize it. I think recently, it has made major strides in its reporting capability. Generally speaking, it is easy to adopt and works quickly and effectively to get into the hands of folks who need to use it. The interface and usability make the applications easy to adopt, and it's very easy to initially set up. The ability to implement applications that look similar to prior iterations helps with quick adoption and market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

I think Quickbase's reporting features have gotten better, but I would like to see additional features added for more complex reporting, especially when there are multiple values associated with a single record that you have to compare and present on a single chart. I've found that formulas being reference fields is not convenient. I think features granted to roles could be more finite and less broad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mostly Fast, Stable Data Store with UI—But Support and Transparency Need Work"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

If you need a data store with UI. A store you can share with customers and internally. The platform is very fast and stable. There are multiple ways to build the same solution depending on how much time one has to learn the details. The community is supportive and love to come up with a million solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

With proper support this service could be really good. The long term committment it would take is missing a champion capable of understanding humans. Product comes off as impatient and appears to have a different agenda than the customers. This difference leads to a lack of comminucation and transparency and thus confidence. Further, fit and finish falters as things break and no one fixes them claiming end of support (for years). One feels a resistance when talking with employees. Many employees express frustration by the disconnect between leadership and providing quality software. At the cusomer level the dysfunction appears as turbulence, high turnover rate, quota's and deadlines. The result is the Software as a Service model no longer acts like a service for the customer but a struggle. The software is good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"There is a learning curve, but once you are familiar with the environment it's a great tool."
4/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

Building relationships is easy, and creating a variety of reports is fairly intuitive. There's a lot of flexibility in database design and options to automate workflows. There are multiple resources within the community, albeit they may not be 1-to-1 for what you need to accomplish. Further, improvements to existing features (e.g. Forms) was a game changer. Release Notes on new products, features, and quality improvements via a centralized 'public' application is now accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Although there's documentation of its features on the corporate website and training modules, you will often find their provided examples rudimentary. If your plan does not include some form of technical support/office hours, you may take hours trying to work out and find a reliable and scalable solution for your database needs. If a product feature has a bug that is impacting your reports or notifications, it could take 5+ weeks for it to be resolved or addressed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
