The tool offers a lot of different functions and flexibility to tailor research projects to the requirements. Even for special cases, which are not explicitely considered in the design of the product, you can find nearly always a workaround due to its flexibility. The possibility to set-up interactive dashboards including advanced information (i.e. sginificance tests within and across variables) is extremely helpful and useful for internal discussions of reearch results. The possibility to process open-ended questions is not sufficient. It needs to be coded, analyzed separately and uploaded as static image or text back into the tool. It is user-friendly and it allows you to learn more about other methodologies that perhaps you didn't consider before. Its tutorials are clear and helpful plus their research team is always there for you if you need more asisstance! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't really have anything negative in mind. It is useful creating reports but maybe it would be great to be able to download them in Keynote and also not losing the interactivity because when creating a dashboard it is not possible to use your own company template/format. Compared to other platforms we definitely see room for improvement on the programming interface and crosstabs. Certain functionalities (e.g., loops) that were essentially drag-and-drop features on other platforms don't exist on quantilope yet and require hefty manual programming. Crosstabs are also limited compared to other platforms; it requires an excel export versus being able to build, edit, save, and view multiple versions within the platform itself. Quantilope's team partners closely with the business to establish a research agenda and propose solutions vs. just pitching activities for the sake of a contract. When we come to the team with some areas we want to understand about our customers, prospects, or market, the team takes time to ask follow-up questions, help us frame the opportunity, and propose potential solutions. - Biggest need: For having an 'Other' option, you have to create an new question on a new page for someone to fill out what 'Other' means. We need an open text box available for 'Other' WITHIN the answer set instead of having users go to another page to provide their answer.

Quantilope is super easy to use to program surveys. I am a user experience researcher and frequently poll our users. I had used a different platform (Qualtrics) at a previous job & found the transition to be simple and user-friendly. The reps are also very nice & have helped me troubleshoot inevitable snafus.
