QBench’s internal logic is still test-centric, while we operate around sample batches and multi-layered orders that creates friction in high-volume workflows. The reporting system remains difficult to customize for client-facing outputs, so had to implement our own report system to attach within Qbench. Documentation is minimal for advanced customization, which slows internal automation. Scaling to hundreds of samples per week (with linked sample IDs, customer work zones, and test types) is cumbersome. Honestly, very little. Because our lab has some highly specific workflows, there were moments early on where we needed to fine-tune certain configurations, but the QBench team was always quick to help or develop new solutions.
