There is nothing to dislike about it but if you are using previous version then you will have to learn some new things which was released with python 3.8 which is worth it as the new features and is more optimised. While Python 3.8 with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS is perfect choice, I do have grudge against Python for not supporting old functions and syntaxes in new versions.
