In earlier days Proxyclick was very eager to develop features when you presented problems for them. Today it seems like the more standard support answer - unfortunately, we cannot do that or do not support that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part of ProxyClick is the service that stands behind it. When I have an issue, emails are constantly going back and forth between myself and support. We are used to the typical: send support an email and wait and wait and wait for a response. With ProxyClick, its the opposite. They are so quick with responses, they are typically waiting on me! (I want to preface this comment by saying that it is mostly aimed at Brother) We purchased a recommended printer (Brother VC-500W) and it has been nothing but trouble. We don't frequently have visitors, but without a doubt everytime we do, the printer is off. Then when it is on, its slow to print. Finally when its done printing, you have to manually tell the printer to cut the label (really?!). This makes the entire check in process tedious and time consuming. The ProxyClick app side is fast and easy to use. But when considering the check-in process as a whole, I've seen co-workers give up on checking people in due to the printer's lacking abilities.

It's cloud based, so no need to host anything locally except for the actual kiosks (iPads). All management is done through their website, which supports single sign-on and user provisioning from our IdP. Technical support is always only a live chat message away. If there is a network outage on site, visitors will have to be logged with pen and paper. We've some times had issues with the badge printers, not printing with the correct aspect ratio, or in some cases not printing at all.
