ProtoPie is a remarkably user-friendly design tool that outshines other prototyping software, including Figma. Its extensive feature set makes it a versatile choice for designers. Notably, ProtoPie Connect allows seamless device-to-device connections for testing and refining interactions. Device preview ensures a consistent user experience, while features like cloud saving and design handoff simplify collaboration and sharing. ProtoPie is an all-encompassing tool suitable for both beginners and experienced designers.
Not to mention the great community and customer experience of the Protopie team, they helped me with many challenges I've encountered and guided me through them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While ProtoPie is an excellent tool, there is room for improvement. It would be great to see features like 4K interaction recording and the ability to use custom code in specific prototyping cases in the future. Additionally, addressing and fixing some of the existing bugs would enhance the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
• Simple interaction model
• A lot of possibilities and flexibility with variables, formulas, and conditional logic
• Easily sync to phone Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
• Significant lack of parity when importing from Figma
• Component libraries are very buggy with antiquated management and have never worked correctly
• The desktop app’s cloud integration was done halfway with poor ability to manage and find files
• No collaboration
• Most bugs get buried and de-prioritized over industry-hyped features (e.g. voice, QR code scanning) and still exist YEARS later
• No gradient
• No fonts - Although just launched for Enterprise-only. In 2023.
• No auto layout (or equivalent)
• The desktop app’s interface is outdated and buggy with little or no affordances to work efficiently Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's advanced prototyping capabilities using functions via its simple interface , screen transition and components animation.
Litteraly , while using protopie , we feel like the sky is the limit! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Actually, Nothing.
Maybe what frustrates me , very few times i have to restart the app to function properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It can customize a lot and it can easy communicate how to code the prototype with the developer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It cannot customize the mockup and I need to record the animation and add the mockup by myself. I also hope that can have a automatic play prototype function, which will allow me to play it automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Protopie has a lot of functionalities for pretty advanced protoypes, easily compatible with Sketch, I always use it flawless - collaborating a lot with my team of designers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning path about using Protopie at its fullest is a bit longer than I expected. But after learning a great toolset is provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Things I like most about Protopie:
- They have a number of educational resources and communities you can join to learn the software
- You can create realistic apps that anyone can download straight to a phone just by scanning a QR code
- The desktop clickable prototypes can be shared with just a link
- Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike:
- It takes a while to understand how to make a high-definition prototype and get the basics of interaction design
- When working with desktop software prototypes, the layer map and interaction editors cut a large portion of the viewable screen off
- There is no auto-layout when you're working with layers, so sometimes it can seem like editing layers takes an excessively long time
- It wasn't easy to set up shared components Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Protopie allows our team to create complex interactions and animations for some prototypes. We dont run everything on protopie since figma protoyping tool is sometimes enought Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its pretty complicated to start off. Some heavy training needs to be done before getting used to prototyping on this tool. Would love more tutorials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The walkthroughs and resources for newbies are great. The partnership usage alongside XD is very good. I find the two are a good solution for your prototyping projects. I like the month to month subscription. Pricing is reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its a little hard to pickup in the beginning, so you do need to spend a bit of time learning the basics. Once you do get it, things will start to click a bit better. I tried to squeeze all I needed to do in the one month trial. That didnt work out so great, so I paid for two months to suit my project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ProtoPie is one of the most widely used prototyping tool, It is chosen by me because it possesses a large number of features that made the process quick. It meets the industry-level standers required for making interactive prototypes. Often the development of app and websites seek to get prototypes before final designs could be made, for which there are multiple other options also like Figma, sketch AdobeXD, and much more, but protopie is the one I recommend because it's quick to learn, import files from other design tools, easy collaborations, can also make complex interactions also, and much more. You here have only 30 days of free trial and later you have to pay for it according to the degree of work and collaborations you make on it. It's a drawback because there are also other tools that offer better packs. It also has limited learning materials provided by protopie itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
