I like the database approach to constructing proposal pricing in general. I especially like the pivot tool and the ability to import from MS Project. Far and away better than any spreadsheet based approach to pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Haven't run into anything in particular that I would say that I dislike with the product. However, I would like to know more about the various integrations that are possible for document production, work flow, and Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ease of use of ProPricer. The ability to apply fees/burden rates separately to Material and SubK (Subcontractor) as well as touch labor hours is seemless and the process is easy to pick up on for new Pricing Analysts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface is a little dull and feels outdated. It is a minor issue as it doesn't affect functionality but more so the look of ProPricer can use an upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Propricer was easy to implement. Going from excel based pricing to Propricer was the BEST move our company made to streamline our proposal process. It is easy to use, therefore the internal training was a breeze.
The reports are amazing and you can create your own!! You can provide your customers with the data they are looking for: by CLIN, by YEAR, by SUMMARY, 15-2 tables, direct rates, indirect rates... all with a click of a button. No need to spend hours in excel trying to recreate what the customer needs... using Propricer cut our proposal and cost volume creation time down by 80%!!!!
The customer service is the most amazing, helpful, thorough team i've ever encountered. They are available via phone, email or chat. They are able and willing to help with whatever you need. I am blown away by their response time.
The Connect to Excel & Connect to Word tools are so helpful. These are great tools for Program Managers, Executives, and Contracts teams to have. They can set up tables and run them for any proposal in Propricer without ever needing to access a Propricer license. It is so helpful and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One downside to Propricer is that there are so many tools within that i don't even use yet. Once i spend more time learning about each piece, I find out i can make other coworkers work-lifes easier by helping them be more efficient with their bidding time and analysis.
The only other downside is that the best reports & negotiation tools are only available in the CE version, not the E version. So if you have a lot of people that run reports & handle negotiations, you will need that many CE licenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to gather data from various inputs and organize into a useful view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited license count. We run a tight shop and contention for licenses can be high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
