"Straight forward interface but still need to address fundermental bugs"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

What I like best about Sitefinity is how you can personalize and reuse widgets such as content blocks. For example, I have multiple pages that I need to use lengthy content; I could make it a reusable content block and use it across the relevant pages. Save me a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

The existing bugs that are present in the system. For example, the preview button was always block whenever my approver rejects that page, how am I going to preview that page before sending for re-approval. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust CMS with flexible modules and add-ons that enhance your development experience."
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

Sitefinity allowed us to launch and operate an eCommerce platform very quickly. Its integration with authorize.net, which we already used on our previous CMS platform, made the transition seamless. Sitefinity has very robust features. We have never had any errors with the Sitefinity code. Sometimes it isn't as customized as we would like, but it's practically bullet-proof when launched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Our organization is a non-profit and usually requires something different than everyone else. It would be nice if Sitefinity had more customization built-in. Usually, changing something requires programming assistance and can not be done on the back end administratively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Allows for a wide variety of customization options and expansion modules."
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

Thanks to Sitefinity, we were able to set up and begin managing an online store in record time. We were already using authorize.net with our previous CMS, so that part of the transition was smooth. Sitefinity has a lot of advanced functions. The Sitefinity code has always worked flawlessly for us. The level of customization isn't always where we'd like it to be, but once it's there, it's practically indestructible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Sitefinity could benefit from more in-built customization options. Unlike with front-end administration, back-end changes typically necessitate the assistance of a programmer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sitefinity helps us create excellent experiences for our clients."
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

Progress Sitefinity is accessible to all stakeholders, making our jobs at BoxCrush easier. The platform is intuitive and easily navigated, which is ideal for our clients and internal team members. The easy-to-use interface translates into well-made and manageable websites that are eye-catching and have exceptional functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Progress Sitefinity often changes the licensing structure, which is confusing for our clients. Since we are a Sitefinity Partner, we want to avoid confusing clients who are less familiar with the nuances of such changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sitefinity CMS review"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

The separate architecture based on static pages and dynamic modules Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Backend capabilities like sorting and reordering(not filtering) for most of the backend modules. Pages and documents have it, but all other modules - do not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Web CMS That is simple and easy to use"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

Progress Sitefinity is a simple and easy-to-use CMS on a cheaper budget than something like Kentico. However it allows you to make sites that are just as beautiful at a fraction of the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Progress Sitefinity's UI can be pretty simple and barebones at times. It's primarily black text on a white background, with menus that are file dropdowns like windows. The UI has few dynamic features, so it can be boring to look at and a little tedious to find where you need to go as some of the menus are very large. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easier to use when compared to other CMS like SharePoint"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

The personalisation part of Sitefinity. I can never do that with SharePoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

I don't like it when a site is made offline and yet the content are still published and listed in the site search but are inaccessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
