It is an easy-to-use platform for task assignment and task management. I use it across teams for projects, and it is an easy way to delegate tasks and also allows you to upload documents and files to tasks or entries so others can easily access it without the need to email back and forth. Its ease of use is mainly based on how you set up the program for your workspaces, so getting it off the ground might be difficult if you are not savvy with program coordination and system management. The ability to customise Podio to support our internal workflows across multiple business functions has made it an indispensable tool for us. It's a little hard to get to grips with for the uninitiated, and the interface looks a bit dated, despite the recent overhaul. A personal bugbear is that you can't copy notes from within text tiles on workspace activity pages without selecting edit first - please fix this, it's really annoying! Podio would be improved by showing pending requests, a step less than the full assignment of a task. For example, you may ask a question in a item chat. This is something minor but in the future I would like to see Podio allow for different color schemes so that workspaces can be better differentiated.
