customer support for me use to be super simple. Now I feel like its harder and harder to get answers to things and solution corrected. If there is an error for example I had parents charged twice one. I had no notification sent out about this. I cant see parents payment information and its not easy for them sometimes. So i need the card removed. use to not have any issues with this last time I went through 10 emails to get it fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that Procare has an easy to use dashboard that will help you to access the various components of their system. It is clean and clear while giving you the basic information that you need to get started for the day. The various functions such as the reports give you a variety of ways to track the accounting and attendance in your program without getting bogged down by endless clicking to find the right form. An issue that I have with Procare is how subsidy payments are managed in the system. For example, if a child on subsidy leaves the program, their personal information that ties them to deposits is deleted and you have to go back and reenroll the child in the program to make the final deposits. Another issue that I have is the options for the newsletter function. It is very basic and does not allow for much creativity. It also does not have a strong print or email function as information and pictures get distorted when trying to print or email a newsletter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Procare has offered us a single app that tracks every aspect of a childs day, while also providing a uniform way for parent communication that can easily be monitored by administration. We are able to track who is signing a child in and out, billing, attendance... basically everything we were required to do on paper before transitioning to the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside we have experienced is that the app relies on wifi- as most apps do. Our building does not have great cell service so if wifi goes out, we are back to pen and paper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Procare has a chat feature which I use A LOT! All of their people have been very helpful and patient. I also like that I feel heard when giving feedback. There have been several items that have been updated in their system. Although, I realize others could be giving the same feedback...they do listen and try to make the system more user friendly and make changes as each facility makes known items which will help them to operate with more ease. The only down side I have felt is the lack of having one-on-one support when first starting out. At times, I struggle with technology a bit and during one of the training sessions I was the only person in attendance and was allowed to ask questions throughout...it made me realize this was exactly what I needed. It is a great way to connect school with the families. We like that children can be individually tagged so you can group them in various ways such as messaging. We also like how parents can view their child's day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The system does have some quarks. It seems to be slower than other programs we have used. Sometimes the system is down and parents are unable to sign in or receive messages/updates throughout the day. We would like to be able to use a laptop (desktop) to be able to use for a sign in kiosk. Some things we can do on the iPads are not accessible on the desktop and vice versa. One thing that is not working right now is signing incident reports. There seems to be a glitch in the system when we submit for a parent to sign and it will not go through after the parent has signed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Procare Solutions on a daily basis to manage our facility and communicate with families. We love the simplicity of the product, making it easy for not only teachers, but for parents as well. The mobile app allows communication in real time, and the online payment options allow families regular access to their account which cuts down on interactions surrounding accounts allowing us to spend more time having positive interactions about their child's day. I like how close contact we can be with the parents and how fast we are able to message with the parents back and forth. Keeping families updated with notes and pictures. What I don't like it maintenance if there are issues it so hard to get in touch with someone to help. Even when we finally reach someone, we are always on an extended hold time which is a major inconvenience at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The following are cons for ProCare
1. We can not delete items that was uploaded to a profile in error.
2. We can not add daily customized activities for staff such as notes, etc.
3. Customize user access especially in the event of custody issues/domestic violence, etc.
4. Newsletter draft, sent, and scheduled should be in folders per user and/or classroom according to how it is set up. Each user can only see their own newsletter or class newsletter. Admin can see all newsletter.
5. There should be different levels of Admin. There should be a Super Admin option where others can not change unless they are Super Admin.
6. There should be ability to click a button to add a Custody, Domestic Violence, Epi Pen, Asthma icon next to each child on the web and the app.
7. All ability to add calendar activities to on the web without the sending it to the parent.
8. All some authorized escorts the ability to get send and receive pick up/drop off messages so that they can stay informed or notify us of any issues, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ProCare is user friendly for beginners but also has more advanced features that you can grow into as your comfort/skill level increases with the platform. I love that I can use one program for the admin tasks I need (billing/collecting tuition, child and employee management, etc.) and for the parent communication app that is so important to our families. And the price is unbeatable. As a small business owner, convienience at a reasonable cost is so important, and ProCare beats the compeitition for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
