What do you like best about Prisync?

What do you like best about Prisync?

Prisync is a great tool for analyzing the listings, availability, and price deviations of our products at our resellers globally. The portal is very user-friendly, making it simple to make any changes needed for the registered items. It also provides great value to add competitor products to compare the prices and stock availability. Additionally, the support from Prisync has been excellent when setting up the accounts, making customized solutions and for technical issues. I would highly recommend this tool to anyone interested in analyzing listings, availability, and price deviations for your products and customers as well as your competitors. What do you dislike about Prisync?

The onboarding of the items was very time-consuming, and it took many months before the accounts retrieved the correct data. This required a lot of work from our side, and many issues were identified at different websites, either by how the stock information is retrieved, prices that differ, or that the URL is not retrieved at all due to technical 'blockers' at the resellers' websites. This was however not identified by Prisync but from our team, and we have had to spend many hours sending feedback and following up on the errors for each account. Additionally are the excel reports that are sent on a daily base very extensive and sometimes differ compared to the information on the website. Some Excel skills of your own is recommended to get full value of the data retrieved by the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Prisync:

Have your scope ready from the beginning with what sort of information you want to retrieve from the tool, and make sure to have this set up right from the start. Also, ensure that the data is retrieved from your resellers' webpages so that nothing is 'blocking' the Prisync tool. If so, you need to ask the technical team for help. What problems is Prisync solving and how is that benefiting you?

We can now analyze our resellers globally regarding listings, availability, and price deviations in a much simpler way than before. This makes it easier for us to communicate with our customers in terms of listed items and stock availability. The price deviations are interesting both in terms of the price that the reseller is selling our products for and the price of our competitors in relation to our prices. What do you like best about Prisync?

I've recently started with Prisync, and they've been very accomodating to all our business needs. The software is relatively easy to navigate. When I was vetting multiple companies in this industry, Prisync is one of the few with software that can self-service. For me, I appreciated that I don't like having to rely on others for small things (I don't like waiting), and in eCommerce, an industry that moves quickly you need to respond just as quick. What do you dislike about Prisync?

If you don't specify/limit the results, the competitor's data can be pretty broad and a lot to sort through, and some of the pricing results may not corrispond with your items.

If your company operates off of an API with your eCommerce site, the web crawlers can be a bit much on the API hits which creates enormous logs that can bog down your back end system; however, Prisync was able to change the frequency and the timing of the crawls which helped our system Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
