What do you like best about Prisma Access?

My favorite feature of Prisma Access is its ability to afford consistent, startup-grade security to roaming and branch offices while not having to reinvent an on-premises infrastructure. As a Zero Trust solution, it makes sure that the users get access to only the resources that they are allowed to access and scaling is easy. This single management solution also contains many features convenient for efficient operation, avoiding the complication of the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prisma Access?

The first disadvantage of Prisma Access is complexity for teams unfamiliar with solutions from Palo Alto or SASE solutions. In fact, pricing can be steep, which limits the feasibility of using the approach by small organizations. Users have also complained of sometime difficulties in configuring as well as solving complex problems related to the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Prisma Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prisma Access solves the problem of the protection of dispersed and hybrid workforces and offers secure access for all employees and branches the same way the enterprise expects from fully protected premises. This is an effective Zero Trust model of operation coupled with high-end threat prevention that makes the administration of decentralized teams manageable by providing users with efficient access to the resources they require, wherever they may be. It thereby improves efficiency by providing a well-protected interface for users and the simplification of the dispersion across multiple security products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Prisma Access?

Prisma Access is excellent for secure, scalable, and flexible remote access, making it ideal for modern work environments. Its cloud-delivered architecture provides robust security with minimal latency, ensuring that remote users can connect seamlessly and securely to corporate resources from anywhere. I particularly appreciate the centralized management, which simplifies security policy enforcement and monitoring across distributed environments. Prisma Access also reduces complexity by consolidating VPN, firewall, and threat prevention features into one platform, which streamlines the user experience and helps maintain consistent security standards. Its automatic scalability is another big upside, as it adapts to traffic demands without requiring hardware changes or additional configurations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prisma Access?

While Prisma Access offers strong security features, there are some aspects that can be challenging. The initial setup and configuration can be complex and time-consuming, especially for organizations that lack in-house network security expertise. Additionally, troubleshooting and resolving issues sometimes require navigating a steep learning curve, which can be frustrating. There are occasional connectivity hiccups, and performance may vary depending on the location of the user relative to Prisma’s data centers. Licensing costs can also add up quickly, making it less budget-friendly for smaller businesses. Lastly, the limited customization options for certain security policies may feel restrictive for those with specific, tailored security needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Prisma Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prisma Access solves the challenge of providing secure, reliable remote access for distributed teams, which is essential in today’s hybrid work environments. By consolidating VPN, firewall, and threat prevention into a single, cloud-delivered platform, it simplifies network security management, reduces the need for multiple tools, and minimizes operational overhead. This integrated approach also helps ensure consistent security policies across all users and devices, reducing the risk of security gaps. For me, Prisma Access has improved efficiency, enhanced security, and provided peace of mind by allowing secure access to resources from anywhere with minimal management complexity.
