The Precursive boards are integrated with Tableau and Salesforce. It has been a great tool in helping us generate necessary reports to track our projects book to the bill. There are projects with outdated delay reasons, unconfirmed contracts, projected revenues, and more. Regularly updating the Precursive will allow project managers like me to be on track with their project's timeline and make sure that everyone is updated with the status of our projects. This will also decrease any possible risks and issues moving forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At first, some tasks were time-consuming and seemed unnecessary, but I love the flexibility and regular improvement as they have removed those tasks. We were also required to add customers on the board before, and we were unable to fix it. Hence, we just needed to tell the customer to disregard the notification sent when we added them to the board, which could be annoying on the customer's end. Also, if the account does have multiple locations, we do not have a way o mirror the dates on same task, and it's time-consuming to add the start and end dates for all locations manually. The tool integrates with SalesForce, which we use as a repository for customer information. Easy collaboration with Sales and Support has made it efficient. The efficiency we look forward to planning the project and collaborating with technical teams easily is definitely at its best. Undoubtedly this has helped us thinking less about project management, more about improvements in different space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customer interaction could have been improved as there is always a need for customer communication; emails are ineffective when you want to keep details. Sharing read-only helps the customer to keep track, but adding comments would have helped in improving efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am pleasantly surprised that this tool has a pretty solid integration with SFDC. I've used many time tracking tools in the past, and they usually freeze up in SFDC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
OBX boards are not a bidirectional sync with the timecard, which makes time tracking even more tedious. I thought our team training was not catered to our use case, so my team and I had to do a lot of self-learning in our own time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This tool is a huge help for organizing my projects. As a project manager, it is so helpful to have all required tasks in one place and a huge time saver when it comes to creating tickets for other teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I have unique partners that don't fit the mold of my precursive board perfectly. It isn't hard to move tasks that are not needed but I wish there were templates for frequently added tasks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Great layout using lists and tasks showing progress at a quick glance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Involved setup requiring lots of custom settings leading to a longer than expected implementation. Program also runs with some error messages even after setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have visibility into PS schedules and commitments. It is embedded in Salesforce, where I spend most of my time, so no need to move between two platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not yet intuitive enough to pick up on the fly, especially as someone who wasn't part of the initial implementation/training. I'm not sure we have the full feature set, and there may be some obstacles purely due to how our teams are using the software so far. For example, we have four teams that touch the customer during the implementation process and other PS projects. The only notes in the systems are from our PS Ops team, but PS notes (the people performing the work with the customer) have notes scattered in email and chat; it would be best if all notes where maintained here, but it could get confused between them and the other teams that touch the customer during implementation and other PS projects. I used to use Trello to keep track of my projects and the tasks completed. I appreciate being able to use the precursive OBX boards to keep track of tasks and the timeline of projects. I'm a visual person and the UX for the boards has been nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an IC, I must log my time against specific tasks within each OBX board/project. Right now, that task feels quite cumbersome as there is no bi-directional sync between "My Precursive" and the OBX boards, which is important for my team. We have to log our external-facing time on each board/related task, and then also navigate to "My Precursive" to log our internal time. It is a lot of back and forth, which can be time-consuming. I understand this type of enhancement for precursive is on its way, so I am very much looking forward to that feature release. That will be a game-changer for my team. Management of tasks on the OBX boards is clear and easy to perform. I like that I am able to see all of the boards at once, so that I can reduce the amount of clicks needed to mark off work on multiple accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I should be able to write to OBX boards from my precursive timesheet. This would reduce the amount of back and forth needed to submit a time sheet. Currently this can add several hours of work to your week. Also, as we email customers back and forth, that activity should relate back to the time board. That way I don't need to remember the activities done that week. Precursive sees them related to the board and I can stamp the time spent on them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of use. It helps give me a visual of where I am at in a workflow process. It gives my team visibility into where my clients are at in their beginning lifecycle. I can write notes in the boxes as well to detail differences in standard workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's standard and basic and best used for high-level tasks or processes. I am sure there's a way that this could be flushed out more by whoever is setting up the board otherwise, functionality is simple (which isn't a bad thing, but it doesn't allow for more intricate workflows).
Also, I'm not too fond of tasks defaulting to being out of order, I cannot put tasks in the order of when they need to be completed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Top of my "like list" is the ease in which new task templates can be created, edited and launched. Whilst some of the functionality within Precusrive does require Salesforce admin knowledge, it is simple to create new automated process flows and boards. The layout of boards is clean and easy to follow and Precusrive allows for 3 different board views, the board and plan views being 2 which really provide great and clear oversight of my projects. Precursive can be slow to load within accounts and can their customer views could be better, specifically the look and feel and ability to have clients interact with boards. Precursive support team can be slow to respond to queries and do not always come back with the best responses but their help centre is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
