Top Rated PowerSchool Performance Matters Assessment Alternatives
I really don't like anything much about this program. I hate giving the assessments on it to my students because I hate standardized assessments as a whole, and this particular program requires me to remember a million clicks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is clunky. It is not user-friendly or intuitive. I am pretty good with tech, but I still have to rewatch tutorials every time I use the program because there are so many steps. Also, the page is often hard to navigate and difficult to read because of the layout of the screen. It is hard to enter data into the program because the screen is small and cut in half. PowerSchools Performance Matters Assessment is a great tool for creating digital assessments for schools, classes, or curricula. Our school district uses it for common curriculum assessments so it is easily accessible by all teachers in a specific grade level/subject. They can also set the same settings for all students taking the assessment to ensure accurate data collection. The integration across 50+ schools makes this a great tool for school districts. For individual teachers, it is a little cumbersome to create an individual assessment. It takes a lot of time to get the assessment created and formated correctly. And because of all of the options which is usually a good thing, if teachers do not use the tool frequently, the options can be overwhelming and the teacher may not use the tool to the best of its ability.
