It is so expensive that is almost ridiculous. For a computer-based program, they make a lot of money. When I took my GRE exam there were TWO employees working during the entire duration of my exam, and about 8 people taking the test. The on-screen calculator on Powerprep is very difficult to use and can be made much more easier to use. Also, ETS needs to update the software with new tests or give the option to buy more "PAID" tests for candidates who want to practice more. PowerPrep II contains limited test practice material for the GRE, and since it is the official ETS program, I would recommend it to anyone who is planning on taking the GRE. If you are taking the GRE using a computer, you should practice using PowerPrep, because it is the absolute closest approximation of the GRE test environment. There are a limited number of tests that you can take on PowerPrep - this limits how much you can prepare, and you will want to be strategic when in your studying you choose to use PowerPrep.
