I love that Popl is free and has the QR code to easily share your business information with others. It ibky took me a couple of minutes to set up and was very helpful while I was at a conference Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't like that I could not customize some of the features without upgrading to the premium model. I wonder if it would be possible to include more features in the base model but potentially have ads to boost revenue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I needed something fast as I was attending a conference and I had just started a new job and no business cards. I saw Popl on Instagram I thought I'd give it a try. I was amazed, how easy and how good it looked. I immediately sent it out to people and they loved it. I used it on my first day and all the vendors loved it and now some of them are wanting to do it. The cost can be a little daunting. A lot of times she can get 250-500 business cards For under $50 and those cards can last you for a couple years unless you changed jobs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I couldn't find my printed business card so I downloaded Popl out of desperation. I had a big networking event.
This was great. I didn't even realize it would capture the other person's information. Love the app, makes life as a small business owner so much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be a little slow at times, getting people to read the QR code is something not a lot of folks are used to Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was introduced to Popl when I met someone at an event and she had me scan a QR code on her home screen. It took me to a webpage where I entered my info and sent it to her. I had the option to create an account and decided to try it since it had good reviews. I don't currently have a physical business card, so I thought this could be a neat way to give people my info -- and I wasn't wrong. It was very simple to set up. I really like the QR code widget so you don't have to fully open the app to have someone scan it. I can see myself using this pretty frequently in the future, and potentially recommend it as something to integrate all my workplace's managers' info into. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I haven't liked so far is that when signing up, the screen where they give you the option to get a Popl+ subscription kind of makes it seem like you have to have it to use the app at all, when you don't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an eco-conscious choice, Popl helps reduce waste by elOne of the best things about Popl is its incredible ease of use. Sharing my contact details has never been simpler; a quick tap or scan allows me to instantly share my information without the need for physical business cards. This seamless sharing is a huge time-saver and makes networking much more efficient.
Another feature I love is the versatility Popl offers. Whether I want a sleek metal card, a MagSafe-enabled device for my iPhone, a wristband, or even an Apple Watch band, Popl has a variety of options to suit different styles and needs. This flexibility means I can always choose a format that fits my preferences and professional image.
Popl’s commitment to sustainability is also a major plus. By using digital business cards, I’m helping reduce paper waste, which aligns with my eco-conscious values. It’s great to have a networking tool that not only enhances my professional interactions but also contributes to environmental conservationiminating the need for paper business cards. This is an attractive feature for professionals and organizations looking to minimize their environmental impact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I appreciate the innovation behind Popl, there are a few drawbacks that stand out to me. Privacy is a concern; even with security measures in place, sharing personal and professional information digitally always carries some risk, which makes me uneasy.
Another issue is the adoption rate. Not everyone is familiar with digital business cards, and I sometimes encounter people who prefer traditional cards or don't know how to use the digital ones. This can create awkward moments during networking events.
Lastly, the cost of premium options like the sleek metal cards can be quite high compared to traditional paper business cards, which might be a drawback for individuals or small businesses with limited budgets. Despite these issues, Popl remains a useful tool for modern networking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I thought the QR code on the Physical card was for downloading the app and found it was just for support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I liked that the sticker card is very easy to apply and a small enough shape that it fits most phones. I have not had it long enough to determine if the QR code printing holds up against the wear and tear of regular phone handling. I also like that once the information is set up, the digital card is clear and easy for others to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The process of setting up my card gave me some trouble and the app froze on me 3 times during the set up. I had to exit out of it a few times and re-enter information. It also is not clear when information is accepted, so my email was listed twice before I figured out how to cut one out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that I can combine my contact info with social media profiles to offer a more complete picture of who I am, and it's easy to share my info without carrying around cards!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I could see the cost being a deterrant for people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Popl is its convenience and efficiency. It allows for seamless sharing of contact information and social profiles without the need for physical business cards, making networking more eco-friendly and organized. The platform’s ability to update information in real time and its customizable design options are also major advantages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I dislike about Popl is that it requires the other person to have a smartphone or be tech-savvy enough to use the platform effectively, which can be limiting in certain situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've used Popl in my networking groups to quickly exchange contact info to stay connected and cross-refer with other professionals. I recently ran out of print business cards, and I'm enjoying the ease of use that digital business cards provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
