I think the Popl digital business card concept is an innovative idea for businesses. I believe it will be a cost effective and money saving tool for businesses. It will save money for businesses in financial or real-estate business (as well as countless others) by minimizing how many business cards they are ordering for customer facing employees. In my experience I find it to be convenient when on the go. I think it can be a very valuable tool overall and with minimal downsides. If web connection is accessible, this is an easily to use tool for sharing contact information and networking more easily. The only interruption I have seen to useage is web connectivity in certain areas/locations.
Aside from that, some individuals may prefer a paper card especially when traveling in foreign markets where quality of business card may be seen as a status symbol. For example in Japanese markets a nicer form of physical business card (good cardstock and design) can be seen as appealing when handed to prospective business partners. Popl lets you have quick access to give someone you're interested in doing business with a page with your linkedin, phone number, email, and even personal websites. I'm a college student applying for many internships, but when I don't have a resume on me and meet someone whos interested in doing business together, I can use popl to exchange information with them. The way the Popl pro popup offer shows up on the app can be a little confusing, as it didnt have a clear rejection option. This made me thing for a short moment that the popl services would all cost a monthly fee. However, they do offer a free service to general consumers without the needs of a professional package. I love the idea of just being able to swipe my card on the back of somebody's phone and instantly they have my information or I have theirs.

This New (to me ) Platform lets you customize EVERYTHING. Super Easy to use, Got a quick design up within 20 minutes and didt know what I was doing at all within POPL. I cannot wait to Delve into platform more! Showed a goof french friend who is a graphic desisner what I did and even he was impressed ( Disclaimer: not discrimating at all or being disrespectful, but....Everyone knows how the french are they hate everything and will be very direct with you.) I love this card I purchased it quite a while ago and it has been sitting on my desk forever once I tried it out within 5 minutes it was up and running. So far the only thing I didnt like was it asking me to do a subscription as soon as I started. I figured I'd do the minimal trial to start. But I have already thought about a 2nd and 3rd business card ideas. This is still YTBD, not a final conclusion Will update.... But the part that stands is asking for a subscription AS SOON as you start. Not even giving a user a chance to try platform. I did pay for the metal NFC card afterall. I love using my Popl to share my co tact information because it's always ready for sharing, straight into my new contacts phone.
No cards to lose, and the best part is that they don't have to physically type in my info. It's all there quickly and effortlessly!
